Finally what the world has been waiting for, .... proof. ..... okay,,,,,,,, anytime you're ready ......
It's blindingly obvious to anyone with any real knowledge. To accept the Bible as literally true you have to throw away just about everything we've learned in the last 400 years about the way things really are. It's obvious on the first page that the Bible's mythology, but you'll never see that, your head's too full of nonsense. It's staggering the amount of time and energy you expend trying to maintain an easily falsifiable premise, but you're immune to any kind of contrary evidence or argument. You've seen plenty of it here from multiple posters, but you just deny and spin and invent, and always end up citing some biblical verses in the tired old argument from authority fallacy. Like I said, it's like playing chess with a parrot. You're never going to understand, your reality is stuck in the 16th century.

No, .... lol. That doesn't mean the writer of Alice in wonderland was not using the silver slippers in just that way though. Is greed for money a demon/disease in today's society? Rick's own party was ready to abandon him as soon as he said Satan's name.

C.S. Lewis didn't write Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carroll did...authorship is important MHz...

As are the details in the story, silver slippers were originally in the Wizard of Oz story by L. Frank Baum. The banksters had it changed to ruby slippers.

If the words of Yeshua the Nazarene concerning brotherhood and love of neighbour, charity, pacifism and non-violence, forgiveness, being non-judgemental, and eschewing materialism were fashioned into a glass slipper it would be the rare modern Christian "Church" that could come close to slipping it on. I said "rare" because I may have missed one of the the 26 000 competing denominations and sects which appear to have substituted myth and belief in the impossible for a way of life that would benefit all mankind.

This parrot you've been playing chess with is he the same one that taught you physics and history?

When will we accept our Egyptian heritage and forget about Issa Krast?

Plus 'The Hobbit', you know me, get as much info as possible. It only seems strange cause you are operating from zero knowledge.

You did get the symbolism between Golum and Banksters did you not? That should tell you who rules them. Luckily R. Santorum (sp) is already on the case. You will notice people are moving away, giving him the needed elbow room I suppose. The correct cure for even the strongest demon possession is give, ... wait for it, ...... in the Bible. Some require prayer and fasting, in Jesus's day He started out with a 40 day fast, our version is to not eat with 'the posessed one' for 40 days straight and by that time them being able to deceive you is pretty much null at that point. Don't let them hang around too much or you might start eating with them again.

I thought you said you read the Bible at one time? That not show up as a flashing text?
lmao

You have a great gift for reading into things stuff that just isn't there.
Yep.

Finally what the world has been waiting for, .... proof. ..... okay,,,,,,,, anytime you're ready ......
Done. You simply refuse to accept it. "if something's about belief, you turn yourself inside out attempting to be convincing. Yet, if it's about facts or even probabilities, you dodge it or else demand proof (that you'll just ignore anyway).

I'd suggest dumping whatever you think is evidential in the Bible and just accept the simple premises that we all should just love each other and treat each as we'd like them to treat ourselves.

Second only to you and Dex not being able to take good advice. Dex tell you he rejected a seal verse that gives thge land area of the earth as being 1/4 and Dex rejected it because it was off by a few percent. I didn't have the heart to point out the area was referenced as 'inhabitable parts of the earth' eliminated the land areas of Greenland and Antarctica. Doesn't matter the info is 1500 years ahead of anybody else, a few percent and his wor5ld is safe from change. That is amusing all by itself, goes for you too.

Probably lets the parrot sit on his shoulder when they are playing poker

Advice is advice. Big deal.
Like I said, if it's about evidence, you simply refuse to accept it. Yet if something's about belief, you turn yourself inside out attempting to be convincing. And on the other hand, if it's about facts or even probabilities, you dodge it or else demand proof that results in being ignored anyway. So why would you expect anyone to consider any "evidence" of yours to begin with? Especially about stuff in a book based upon nothing but a big, improbable "maybe".
Your beliefs have corrupted your reasoning.

I've already said proof isn't going to be found, no matter how many look for it. That means a 'pause' until proof is available. Since the Book covers that in great detail would it not be wise to read about those things so we can say, Yes' or 'no' depending on what is happening in front of us. It isn't like this is a political thread. You actually display real shock when somebody references something in the Bible in relation to , well, ...... this thread's topic for example, and you're quite serious about it to boot. Do you know how sad that is?

Almost forgot, this is where proof comes to find you should you still be waiting. The stuff in between is something you don't care to know about, so be it.

Re:16:2:
And the first went,
and poured out his vial upon the earth;
and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast,
and upon them which worshipped his image.

Re:16:21:
And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven,
every stone about the weight of a talent:
and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail;
for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Your beliefs have corrupted your reasoning.
My reasoning has destroyed my corrupt beliefs.

1Pe:4:12:
Beloved,
think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you,
as though some strange thing happened unto you:

1Pe:4:17:
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:
and if it first begin at us,
what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Proof of what? When you wanted proof that not everything in the Bible is believable, you got my last reply. If you are referring to proof that your god is a big, improbable "maybe" you are right, none will be forthcoming. if you don't specify, you get guesses as to what people think you mean. There's no such thing as a mind-reader. DUH

Like I said, you ignore or dodge any evidence that stuff in the Bible can't be true. That makes the other stuff in the Bible open to discussion. It also makes anything in the Bible open to interpretation. All you've done all through these threads is post your own interpretation.

This thread's topic is "What would YOU want to hear at church?". Why would anyone be shocked about that? Serious about it? I think you have forgotten about all the jokes the thread topic incited. My own reply, for instance, was that I would like to hear more Bach.

Almost forgot, this is where proof comes to find you should you still be waiting.
Whut?

That's not proof. That is hearsay backing up hearsay.

Obviously but your reasoning is hardly solid to begin with. And why that is, is because it's been corrupted by your current beliefs. IOW you are simply basing your current reasoning upon the belief that this supposition of gods is true and won't accept the possibility that it isn't true..

You appear to be awfully reluctant to explore a book you see as being totally fiction. Lot's of people decide to wait for the 'movie', have to quiz them later see if they still think that was such a good choice or not.

I do accept that it could not be true. It's still turns out to be a waiting game.

1Co:15:32:
If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus,
what advantageth it me,
if the dead rise not?
let us eat and drink;
for to morrow we die.

1Co:15:16:
For if the dead rise not,
then is not Christ raised:
1Co:15:17:
And if Christ be not raised,
your faith is vain;
ye are yet in your sins.
1Co:15:18:
Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
1Co:15:19:
If in this life only we have hope in Christ,
we are of all men most miserable.

That would alter my life by not very much, God hasn't asked me to give up any riches, my chat partners are some pixels off in cyber space. We get some disappointment before death, you get some disappointment after death. I don't feel cheated at the moment.

Do any of you people live near Surrey, BC? Would love you to come to our community visit Wednesday nights at the Wired Monk in Cloverdale (168 St / 60 Ave) ... you'll see my bro Stan there, in a wheelchair, 7-9pm. You want to talk to an interesting man, talk to Stan.

Many already know why the Bible was put together the way it is. After the death of
Christ, there were four main leaders fighting for political control of the church as we
know it. They allowed the writing of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John and excluded
everyone Else's writings. The reason they often conflict with one another is merely
patch work to keep the church together.
Some say, Timothy for example was quite left wing, I believe they call them something
like Messianic Jews, at that time. See Christ didn't regard himself as a Christian he in his
mind was a Jew who wanted a reformation of sorts The religion was taken over by the
non Jews and sent off in another direction.
The Bible has been written a number of times. one of the Roman Emperors converted
to use Christ as the inspiration for victory in war. No doubt there were others who
found ways to profit. Pope Gregory takes the cake though. He turn Christs reformed
sinner girlfriend and turned her into a prostitute forgiven by Christ.
Before Gregory she apparently was not referred to as a prostitute.
He also sold shares that automatically got you a pass to Heaven. That money was
used to build the Vatican. Hmmm sound like the Mafia was already forming doesn't it.

With respect what you are describing is not 'The Bible', just the New Testement. There is a lot more to the bible than that.

How much of the posting is actually Sinister and how much is this bird?

You ceased to be amusing or interesting a long time ago.

Your preferences in entertainment no longer matter. You have been conditioned to respond like a lab bunny.

Hard to tell who is posting, the answers are certain bird-brained so it could be either. The parrot will repeat himself less.
