Dad, I hope that you can see
how much I treasure you;
You mean the world to me.
Love you daddy

I can't imagine losing a child. I admire the courage of anyone who can go on after that. I don't think I could. So sorry to hear about that Mowich.My Dad died a year ago this past September on the same day that my oldest daughter had died eight years previously.
Dad taught me the joy that comes from working the land in spite of all the misery that accompanies it. He taught my sisters and I that girls/women could do anything they wanted as long as they put their minds to it. He instilled in me a life long love of politics and football.
So, right now I would ask him if they have big screen TV for Sunday's Grey Cup game. I know that wherever he is, he'll be watching.

My oldest has cancer, but is doing great.
I don't what I will do if he gets beaten by it.
Intersting how kids take it so easily....his courage is breath taking.
I am happy to read that your son is doing well, Avro. What type of cancer does he have?
And yes, you are right the resilience and bravery of our children is truly breath-taking.
He has non Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Very treatable...thankfully.
Which type of NHL does he have, Avro? If you don't mind me asking?
