Whether the Celts actually saw themselves as one Celtic race is still debated as is their exact geographical spread, but especially in regards as to whether the Iron Age inhabitants of Britain and Ireland should be regarded as Celts.

If they should be, then the English are just as Celtic as Scots, Welsh, Northern Irish and Irish.

As for "indigenous Europeans", these are people such as the Sami of Scandinavia. They are like Europe's Eskimos.
