Answer - that is an odd suggestion to someone with disability, urging her to vote for the people who cut disability allowances provincially by almost a 1/3d. Do you know nothing of the Conservative agenda?

His disability doesn't automatically qualify him for the job
Sorry, Colpy, but I'm with PoisonPete2 and Reverend Blair on this. Here in Saskatchewan, the Conservatives have done (imho) a lot of damage that has yet to be fully repaired. And Stephen Fletcher being quadraplegic doesn't necessarily qualify him to fully grasp the enormity of the situation for disabled people in general. Part of the problem, again imho, is the discrepancy between the benefits people who have acquired their disabilities through accident, like Mr. Fletcher, and those like myself who were disabled from birth. Much (dare I say most?) of the time an accident victim receives a large sum of money through insurance and/or law suits, whereas those of us who are disabled from birth don't have that "luxury" and are basically at the mercy of whatever the powers that be say we are entitled to.
Please don't get me wrong. I don't begrudge people who become disabled their due. What bothers me is that there is a huge gap in entitlements. And I'm only talking about physical disabilities here.
I suppose I should amend my original answer to the topic by saying that for me all issues regarding people with disabilities are of the utmost importance to me in the next election. I guess I chose health first because unless that is addressed, there can be nothing else (i.e. education, employment) to follow.
