Delta Goodram - "Eclipse"

Formed in 1956 when Europe was still recovering from war, along came the Eurovision Song Contest:

European nations would now fight against each other in a light-hearted and fun music competition rather than killing and maiming each other.

Eurovision has been held every year since apart from 2020.

But since 2015 Australia has taken part even though it is nowhere near Europe and this year they are the second favourites behind Finland.

Australia was allowed to enter the competition in 2015 due to it being extremely popular there.

Famous Australian singer Delta Goodram, 41, represents Australia...

The Finnish entry "Liekinheitin".

I can't speak a word of Finnish but using an AI translator it's about a young man who is in love with a gorgeous young woman and vice versa. Even though though they love each other they are angry with each other and she speaks to other men in the bar and he sees it and is angry. She's doing it to make him jealous. She loves him and wants to test if he truly loves her. They act like they don't like each other when in reality they are both in love with each other.
