nash 3, - minn 2, zack parise left the game with a leg injury, looked serious.
hope its not long lasting, would be another 'high end' player out of the game, don't want
anyone injured, but when it is a top player, really hurts the team.

well, the canucks started slow, then played a pretty good game to tie it, but a horrible, dumb
pass right on the blue line by Daniel sedin with less than a minute in the game, led to a
game winning goal for buffalo.
they were in the buffalo end of the ice, it is unacceptable to do a silly little no look pass
on the blue line, when the game is almost over, at least guarantee yourselves one point, which he
did not do. just get the puck down into the corner, and play the clock out.
anyway, hope someone boots him in the a** in the dressing room, (lol, just imagining that happening)

anyway, the end of my rant, now off to new jersey for a game tomorrow afternoon.

those watching canucks, the game is starting at 2:00 pacific

I was glad to hear the sedin's take full responsibility for the loss yesterday,
admitting they should never be making passes along the blueline in a crucial
time of a tied game.

I fully agree, players of their status should never do such a dumb thing, and I
also put some blame on Desjardin for putting them on the ice when a tough defense
is needed to keep the puck for the last half minute of a tie game. they don't do a
very good job of checking, their expertise is offense, trying to score, and
responsibility 'not' to cough up the puck.

they could of had the tie, giving them one point, 'then' go for the win, at least
that point is in the bank, and a win is possible.

canucks looking loosie goosey, Desjardin looking frustrated, not sure if he will
make it thru the game,. lol
I agree with the goal 'not' counting, burrow's skate hit goalie's skate, caused
him to fall, no penalty, but no goal.

this game was not well played by either team.

off to Columbus next

canucks game just finished, and if it wasn't for markstrom early on in the game canucks would have
lost this game badly.

then, thanks to yannik hanson, by far the first star of the game, and rightfully so, who lit up the
sedin line with his speed and hard work, allowing the sedin's good chances to pick up points, which
they did, hanson is much better on that line than vrbata, who has no spark at all.

this game was sloppy by both teams for a long time, then canucks managed to get those two goals late in the game to.
win by 2, canucks 5, jackets 3

Yeah, I had it on here for the most part of 21/2 periods, but company came over so only paid close attention to the last 5 minutes. "All's well that ends well" :)

lots of whining from the gm meetings that they want goaltenders to trim down their
equipment, so more goals can be scored, from the look of scores I have posted in
the last while, in my opinion there is enough goals.
they forgot to mention that in the last ten years the goalies have become huge
human beings, compared to earlier times, maybe they need to take notice of that
little fact, but many players are also much bigger, the game is faster, the
players are much better athletes, so allround, the game has improved in quality.
and the idea that they might enlarge the goals is ludicrous, the game is fine,
and if there were an average of 10 goals scored every game, I would be bored, the game
would lose quality.
there are two ways to play, offense and defense, people who understand and respect
the game appreciate both sides of the puck, lets not cater to the bimbo fan who
wants to jump up and down like a child as the puck constantly goes in the net,
and also the selfish general manager who wants more money coming in, that is
what they are whining about, and nothing else, they say more people will come
if more goals are scored, 'nonsense', real hockey people will come to games
just like they did years and years ago, scoring hasn't changed much over the
years, just make sure to put teams in real hockey cities mr bettman.
