7th - colorado - 85
8th - l.a. - 84
9th - phoenix - 84
10th- san jose - 82
11th- calgary - 82

Edmonton made nashville look very ordinary last night, even chased rinne out of the net.

Crosby had 4 assists last night as pittsburgh rolled over winnipeg.

Crosby has come back flying, nothing rusty about him, he has been ready for a long time,
didn't miss a step, playing very well, along with the rest of that 'hot' team right now, they
are ready for playoffs.

San Jose looked slow against l.a. last night, they don't seem to be in a slump, they seem to be
in a permanent struggle, not sure where they are going, but right now its the wrong way.

Calgary looked pretty good, but the numbers are against them, and with only one point last night, while
giving away two, they didn't help themselves.

The Hawks were beatable tonight and the Canucks better than they have been.

Interesting to watch the Hawk feed & the homie broadcasters-who really can be nauseating but are also @ times quite complimentary of the Canucks-terms like 'energetic' 'organised' being thrown around.

According to them the Hawks were being 'manhandled' by the Canucks-something I missed.

It's all about perspective really those announcers could easily have been Canuck homies whinging about vancouver-in the middle of a winning streak.

Well, good news is my Islanaders won two games in a row against the Penguins and looked pretty solid doing it. Bad news is they still won't make the post season and it also means the Pens probably won't catch the Hockey Anti-Christs from MSG a.k.a. the Rangers for 1st in the East...

yep, islanders has had their number recently, watched some of that game, along with others.

canucks can tie rangers with a win tonight, then st. louis will only be one point ahead.

well, washington have let sabres back into the race for 8th spot with their loss to tampa bay tonight.

washington have 2 games left, buffalo have 3 games left, and sabres are 2 points behind washington, in 9th spot.

I hope most of you hockey fans watched detroit play st. louis tonight, as it was a preview of a top notch, very intense playoff game.

no score till 3 rd period, then st. louis scored 2, then detroit scored 2, went thru overtime, then right thru the first 5 shoot out players, and bertuzzi scored to win it for detroit, first time I have cheered for him for years, so st. louis got 1 point, they are 2 behind canucks now.

great game.
