Something peculiar is happening to the Gulf Stream.
The Gulf Stream is a warm and swift current that starts from the Gulf of Mexico and stretches up the eastern coastline of the Atlantic Ocean. The stream is known to influence the climate of the east coast of North America, but something strange is happening to it.
Currently, the Gulf Stream is the weakest its been in more than 1,600 years.
What’s causing this? Watch the video to find out more.

There is no reason to assume that the diverted gulf stream is associated with extra melt water since there is practically no ocean or atmospheric streams that have not been diverted by this Solar minimum and there is no abnormal artic melting occuring. These extrodinary/unusal weather/climate adjustments are global in occurance. Everywhere we look there are divergent conditions. We hear about arctic melt water all the time while the snow storms in Saudi Arabia have gone by without much comment. You might also be surprized by the number of dead people killed by hail thus far this year and the crops pounded into mush by chunks of baseball sized ice . The material I pay attention to points to increased volcanic activity caused by changeing magnetic fields and the associated greater influx of cosmic radiation. NASA finds huge underground heat-source in Antarctic responsible for ice shelf crumbling

A MASSIVE subterranean heat source – identical to that triggering Hawaii’s volcano - has been discovered under the West Antarctic Ice Shelf – a glacial area often cited by environmentalists as a ‘climate change’ disaster waiting to happen.
But NASA scientists have discovered a fiercely hot geothermal heat source known as a mantle plume underneath the Antarctica’s Marie Byrd Land.
In the year 2000 an iceberg the size of Wales broke away from the shelf and the whole of the western edge is famously unstable.
Many environmentalists blamed man-made climate change.

The model that I saw a few years ago was that as the Mediterranean basin gets hotter and drier (and it is) the salinity and therefore the density of the water in the Med goes up. As it empties into the Atlantic, that "bump" of more dense water pushes the Gulf Stream to a more Westerly route. That would make Britain cooler and wetter (seems to be happening) and it would accelerate the decay of the Greenland ice cap as somewhat warmer water surrounds it (that may or may not be happening, depending on who you ask). Anyway, a more Westerly path of the Gulf Stream could be partly responsible for the disappearance of the Northern Cod, who may have moved on to cooler places as yet not discovered.

Very likely and Nova Scotia was also under water at one time and at another was a tropical paradise. Nothing stays the same

The Grand Banks, George's Bank, etc. were islands in Neolithiic times. Sable would have been huge.
