No, your still assuming too much and denying the middle ground. I think it might be from a lack of life experience. What your suggesting is great if you already have some level of function. I've seen too many relationships where the people involved had never trusted anyone let alone their spouse. You can say that's wrong till your blue in the face but it isn't going to change the facts.

Of course there are people out there who lack trust Scott. But I will still give them the exact same advice... get counseling, not some bit of spy software. What Zz has said makes sense as far as the legal side of leaving goes. I'll grant that it's part of the 'leave' side of things. But, using a keylogger on your wife to try to prove an affair is a pretty good way to guarantee that you do need to leave in the end. Spying is no way to repair a relationship.

Not usually but one of my posts was edited then the OP was edited.

Paranoid insinuates my concern isn't founded. Mine is founded.

Explain the change in the OP Scott... it looks exactly the same to me.

Again your assuming a level of trust and functionality that doesn't exist in many marriages. Your assuming he knows she is cheating. Your assuming he or she isn't completely off their nut.

And to hell with the relationship maybe he just wants to save his own life or his children's? Any act is justified in that circumstance.

You assume too much.

it looks exactly the same to me.

It would.

It would.

re-read the thread... that OP is quoted in a few other posts, and it's all exactly the same. Your accusations are unfounded and blatantly paranoid. Such things might be tactics that spring into your mind, but they don't register in mine. A discussion with you isn't worth cloak and dagger manipulations of incoherent posts.

I can think of one instance a keylogger would help. As ammunition in a divorce case:)And there are good links to keylogger software advertised right on Canadian Content, if you care to look around.;)

The OP has been edited.

That's pathetic.

The OP hasn't been edited by any of the mods as far as I know.

Scott - I believe it was your post that we did remove a link to a keylogger from - someone else later posted a link to keyloggers directly from the CC parent site - obviously we need to review our understanding of what's acceptable in that regard.

Beyond removing inappropriate content and/or links, mods do not - ever - edit a post for the purpose of bolstering someone's position in a debate. What a preposterous thing to suggest.
