There were about 1000 languages in Australia at the time of the First Fleet. Less than half survive. 400 was low-balling it.

Those were all separate countries. Cuba didnt go communist til about six years after Stalin died. Even then they didnt have a great relationship with the Soviets. Relations between China and the Soviet Union were also very tense for a long time even while both were "communist." Aside from describing themselves with that name those countries really didnt have a whole lot in common. Cambodia also had nothing to do with the Soviet Union or Stalin. The Khmer Rouge did not last very long and while they were in power they were just as xenophobic and isolationist as North Korea. Vietnam and Cambodia also went communist long after Stalin was dead.

If there were only Hitler and Stalin to chose from Id still chose neither.

Maybe I should say that Stalin had push a start button to a world communists movement. The Third International is a international mafia accross the countries. Each members in it had competed and cooperated each at same time.Their jobs are overthrow of GOVT and creatation of concentration camp.
I have a suspicion that NAZI's conccentration camp should be learned from USSR.

We also know the harm that Hitler did to the world. Either one does not take away from the other.
