The way he spent untold amounts of money in order to erase all or at least most of his Afro features, it is plain to see that he was ashamed and embarrassed to be black.

The fact that the black community claimed this "race-traitor" as their own is a poor reflection on the black community.
lol You are just loaded with assumptions, aren't you? No facts or even a little bit of evidence, just plain old conjecture. Poor you.

"Yesterday you said that "race traitor" was a despicable term used only by Liberals, what happened Jack?"

The liberals called Clerance Thomas, Condollezza Rice, Colin Powell, Thomas Sewell, Michael Steel and many, many more for their political views only.

None of them EVER went out of their way to obliterate who they were/are than this squeeking twit.

If "race-traitor" is a despicable term (and I don't recall ever saying so) the liberal can take full credit for inventing it.
Your recollection is faulty. From post #210: "The way he spent untold amounts of money in order to erase all or at least most of his Afro features, it is plain to see that he was ashamed and embarrassed to be black.

The fact that the black community claimed this "race-traitor" as their own is a poor reflection on the black community. "

Ah, so you are an expert? Please explain why you are of the expert opinion he didn't have vitilago.
Because I've read a lot of detailed medical information on it, how it develops, how it presents, and I'm not being paid by a publicist to give the right reply. You can choose to belive it or not, I don't care. I know that he doesn't have it. Or should I say, didn't have it.

Definitely not.

Cosmetic surgery to correct a skin condition is not uncommon either. Granted Jackson did some weird things with his face, it was his decision to have the surgery. What business is it of ours?
That's obvious, MT. People in the spotlight are targets for hatred for many reasons; jealousy, they don't look just right, and a variety of other shallow reasons. They are too shallow to hate the man because he was loopy and held his child over a balcony railing. The deepest they can think concerns his looks.

One other thing that bugs me about MJ and the media. I keep reading on this forum that supporters of MJ are "buying into the media hype". Well I put it to you MJ detractors that you are also guilty of buying into the media hype. Jackson was ostracised, falsely accused and shunned by many because of the media playing up the charges against him. A lot of people wanted his head on a stick because they bought into the story. Guilty until proven innocent huh? Is that how justice works?
No, it makes a pretense of the reverse. It's public opinion that judges and crucifies people until they are proven innocent.

I didn't hate the man. I never liked his music. Ever. Not once during his career did I like his stuff - from the beginning to the end. From the ABC and cartoon show on. Didn't like the white rat named Ben. Didn't like Thriller.

I did not like the way he pretended to have a disease in order to explain his issues with his appearance. That showed a mental problem.

But I can't say I hated the man - I didn't actually know him.

In the bush near Sudbury
How long after the Pepsi pyro foul-up did Jacko start going nutty with the plastic? The nose was early on so he could keep the Jackson Five voice. Sometimes I wondered about the nadz....
