Wonderful attitude, except that VietNamese are still dying from Agent Orange, just as Iraqis are still dying from DU.

As you often write Juan: Rubbish!!

I've seen you take this flying leap so often why haven't you come up with any positive answers. All you do is argue you are right instead of giving definite and unbiased proof from medics.

I inhaled the same defoliant as the Agent Orange which was used in VietNam and here I am...

So you're killing yourselves with PTSD, you still have three quarters of a planet to subjugate, it's a bit premature to be looking for medical resons not to persue the war against terrorism. I mean come on get with the programe it's going to take decades to crush the evil axisises. If it's driving so many crazy this early in the holy war what's it going to be like in ten or twenty yearshahahahahahah. You might own the whole thing some day but you'll never enjoy it.hahahahahhaah

You've actually inhaled Agent Orange? That would explain a lot.

What has the Canadian Military got to say about DU - it is fine that you are all concerned about the state of the U.S. military (ahem).... but it doesn't seem in line with what other things I have read here regarding that group.

Are any Canadian miliitary affected by DU sickness from Gulf One?

If so where are your own arguments - why are you writing about the U.S. military.

Is Canadian media suppressing any ill effects of veterans from that 100 days in the sandbox?

What about the troops stationed in Afghanistan? Any illnesses from combat related sandbox duty?

Fact is: If Veterans - from all wars - were paid what their country should be paying out in primo health care on par with what politicians get - there would be no outcry from any veterans groups whether it is from the agent orange illness or DU stories.

Many many veterans have fallen ill over the past years since VietNam... and many are presenting with illnesses from the Gulf Wars .... but without lifelong medical care, they have to relate their illnesses which are widespread and affect with symptoms as many many different diseases.... as service related which they probably are. The most prevalent disease other than physical traumatic injury from weapons and accident is PTSD.....and this leaves the VA plenty of wiggle room.

To lump things into Agent Orange and DU defeats the purpose. If veterans received lifelong medical care for their service .... the treatment if needed and study of the varied diseases would be not only beneficial to the veterans, but to the military for future combat operations.

The government - especially the VA - as usual have their boots on backwards.

But what about Canadian military????
Again - what are the Canadian Vets going through - are they 100% healthy when they return?
What about the Gulf One vets? Any presenting DU illnesses???
Nope, many and their families are still trying to get compensation for exposure to agent orange and purple. Many of which never even saw combat, they were exposed on bases.

The Liberals and the Conservatives are merely dragging their feet, until all interested parties are dead and longer able to file a claim.

Curiosity raises another issue that I'd forgotten...(remember now I'm not hitting on all cylinders..)

American's fighting the Mexican cash crop of marijuana sprayed large areas of Mexico with chemicals ostensibly designed to kill this particular plant... Now of course the poppy fields in Afghanistan are protected but for decades the damage done by these chemicals has become commonplace among Mexicans and of course anyone involved in the Vietnam debacle...

It seems just a little odd that Americans are encouraged to embrace the "necessity" of destroying Iraq and hanging Saddam Hussein for his program of chemical warfare against both Iran and the Kurdistani people...while forgetting about the large areas of agricultural land bombarded by the United States...with chemical defoliants and various other wonderful things... cluster bombs etc...

just wondering....

OH ITN, you're so gunna hate me...

The unfortunet part of agent orange is, it didn't discriminate between Commies and civilians. Kind of like landmines, they have a problem with reading peoples papers.

No, I don't hate you, I hate the communists that placed innocent civilians in harms way.

Sounds rather familiar, don't it?

Let's see how long it takes for a Canadian to bring up the fact their own government sprayed the hell out of their OWN soldiers in New Brunswick with Agent Orange in the 60's.

Tick Tock.

Why should I be frustrated? You deliver you posts from a frustrated perspective, not me.All my visions are unfolding more or less according to historical documentation regarding imperial expansion
America reminds me of Spain, the empires I mean. Me being a little early is of no consequence, your empire being way to late to the brakes is. There's a small mater of a decade of details to be worked out, it's already messy, but it won't last long, and then poof new world order.hahahahahaha

ITN

I agree ITN the use of defoliants and chemical weapons and for that matter cluster bombs and mines aren't restricted to the American military... but who has been able to afford and deliver more deadly munitions around the world than the "Big Stick" crowd?

That is rubbish and you know that your little sniff was nothing like slogging through a jungle that was drenched with the stuff for 6 hours. The VietNamese soldiers and civilians didn't take a quick little breath. They had to breath the crap for hours or for as long as they were in an area that had been sprayed.

Lovely Juan

And do share: what is your personal excuse for your outrageous bursts of temper?

Obviously you saw no action in your "service" therefore were not exposed to any dangerous toxins.

Yet you continue to exhibit such unrelenting hatred of Israel and the U.S.

One would think after years you would have modified your rage - but I see it still simmers just below the surface. Perhaps it is genetic.

Oh I see you added more to your venom...

My little sniff was eight hours in the fields with the farm workers - we were all exposed that date. Two years of sick-leave and treatment - was not the result of a little sniff.

You have a fanciful mind when it comes to belitting people.... yes it must be genetic.

Already did ITN, but then again, I'm not trying to paint the US with a different brush, as some would.

It was back in sixtys for gods sake, most of the problems associated with it are leaving us anyway, soon it will just be the birth defects and that can easily be blamed on artificial sweetner or something.
You don't have a case ITN, forget it, try do deal with the present.

My uncle used to work arround Gagetown on the thinning crews, they used to wash up with it and it was used as black fly repellent, he's been dead for years, never had any problems.

The outrageous bursts of temper? Hatred of Isreal? I must have missed those. This is about the third or fourth time you've belittled my military service but you know what? I can't worry about criticism from someone who is completely ignorant of what that service was.
