They want to overturn democracy. They're fascists.

It really is that simple.

That's your opinion. Great thing about Democracy is you're entitled to it.

Just like they're entitled to their opinion that the original referendum wasn't legitimate or fair.

Likely to them, you're the fascist for using such a ****ed up referendum to enforce your will on the people of Britain. Certain the people of Scotland could think so.

Nothing in politics is simple and if you don't know that, you shouldn't discuss it.

If any Remainer thinks it fascist to allow the people to decide democratically in a referendum then they are very stupid indeed, which probably explains why they voted the way they did in the referendum.

No, you didn't, unless your point was to show your ignorance.

No. I made a good point.

I'll tell you what else would be fascist - overturning the referendum result and keeping us in the EU just to please 5% of those who voted in the referendum - those Scots who voted Remain - as though they are somehow more important and more special than everyone else.

You're Egyptian, aren't you?

And you're a thick fascist to boot.

And there's nothing fascist about protesting and wanting to overturn a vote that's believed to be bogus.

They don't believe it was bogus - it wasn't.

They just want to overturn it because they don't like the result.

The vote wasn’t bogus , there was no confusion , it was a simple yes no question . The confusion came about because the political class don’t accept the result of the vote . As soon as the vote was counted they started walking back and talking about a deal that would provide a Brexit with no exit . Any confusion or desire for a second referendum is all the fault of an entrenched political class that refuse to honour the will of the people .

The confusion is that nobody knows what brexit is.

They are still tying to invent the definition.

THE SUN ON SUNDAY SAYS Once again, Parliament has proved it is a national disgrace

COMMENT
The Sun on Sunday
20 Oct 2019

THE most duplicitous Parliament in history has proved once again that it is a national disgrace.

MPs have promised time and again to take Britain out of the European Union.

They promised when they said they would abide by the 2016 Brexit referendum result.

They promised when they voted to trigger Article 50.

And they promised when the bulk of them stood on pro-Brexit manifestos in the 2017 General Election.

But yesterday once again they went back on those promises.

Presented with Boris Johnson’s deal, they insulted the voters and chose the route of the Brexit-wreckers.

As former Prime Minister Theresa May pointedly told them, if Parliament had never meant to honour the referendum it was guilty of the “most egregious con trick” on the British people.

The decision by these con-artists to push through Sir Oliver Letwin’s Brexit-blocking amendment is a wretched waste of precious time.

Letwin’s claim that he merely wanted to ensure the UK did not accidentally drop out of the EU on October 31 with no deal is surely disingenuous.

BREXIT-BLOCKERS

He knows Brexit-blockers will use any extra time in an 11th-hour bid to sabotage the legislation and press for a second referendum.

The hapless toff has a long history of blunders and poor judgment, from his riot-sparking poll tax to his notorious Fixed-Term Parliaments Act, which has thwarted the Government’s efforts to call the election the country so badly needs.

Even so, his Brexit amendment would have fallen without the support of the DUP, whose stubborn refusal to compromise is beyond all reason.

Boris may have achieved a near miracle last week by sealing a deal with the EU that many deemed impossible.

But as yesterday’s shambles in this tired and rotten Parliament showed, his real enemies were always closer to home.

GOING POSTAL Defiant Boris refuses to sign EU letter begging for Brexit delay after rebel MPs sank deal vote

BORIS Johnson has tonight refused to sign a letter begging the EU for a Brexit delay after rebel MPs sabotaged his new deal.

The Prime Minister sent three letters to European Council President Donald Tusk after his Super Saturday plans were ruined by Sir Oliver Letwin's plot.

He did not put his signature at the bottom of the first letter - a photocopy of the call by MPs to delay withdrawal from the bloc.

After the crushing loss, he rang European leaders - including Mr Tusk - declaring that the letter "is Parliament's letter, not my letter".

A second note, written by the UK's Permanent Representative in Brussels, Sir Tim Barrow, made it clear the first was not from the PM.

Mr Johnson also sent Mr Tusk another letter stating he personally is not asking for an extension - and signed it at the bottom.

In it, the PM said a Brexit extension would be "deeply corrosive" and his stance is likely to spark a fierce political row.
