I'v got a scoop for you too. I know why and how corporations exist. Now if as it seems that you believe they exist ouside the social framework you are mistaken.
You seem to believe that markets and demand exist exclusivly through the corporate matrix. They do not, any community is capable of that social function. The wealth to form and operate corporations was in totality derived from labour not the other way arround. Labour is the only source of wealth. Someday soon your guns and laws won't help you anymore. We will do more than open wallets Captain, we will eliminate them, down the hole they'll follow the capitalist pigs.
You have a lot of misplaced faith in a system in terminal crisis right before your eyes.
Running the businesses ourselves will be easy all we do is take a page from the capitalists pig bible and destroy the competition, right down to the roots. ;-)

Great insight.. You've accurately described a hunter-gatherer arrangement that incorporates rudimentary elements of trade (trading)... The irony here is that the in running 'your own business' instantly transforms your communal arrangement into an us vs them society.

Like it or not, there is no such thing as a utopian society wherein everyone is 100% equal in terms of materialism, living conditions, intellect or personal responsibility.

The fantasy that you pine for has been tried countless times - it only exists when augmented with the guns and laws that you feel won't help anyone.

If I was going to make a statement like yours, “There is nothing lower or dumber than a stinking scab,” I would first look at how dumb a union worker looks in the eyes of the public, when they think that can go on strike for 4, 6, 10 months and then let the company that was paying them, leave dodge. If you taken the time to read the above comments regarding the exit of the Good Year plants and others, you might understand that because a company is unionized, they still have the choice of being a non-unionized company, elsewhere.
I know the average union worker is not the smartest on the block, but they have the security of knowing that the “union” will keep the job for them. Most diehard union members could not keep their jobs in the real marketplace for a week. Most are too lazy!
