Have mentioned the Mississippi yet?
That's where some of the lines start. The bulk run north, into the frost zones.

Sorry dude. Mass quantities would have to be so diluted to lower flash point that it doesn't work $$$ wise. Not to mention the high number of different products and return lines for the methylnaphthalene making costs even more higher, even more prone to breaks, pump failures and shut downs.
You should tell them that, they must be doing it all wrong.

Up the Missouri.

Southern MN is balmy in winter compared to here

Why aren't they piping JP to Minot for the bomber fleet and KCs from MN?

No doubt it drives off Mr. Frost...

I don't know why you're here posting on the net, when you should be tell pipeline operators in the US that they're doing it all wrong and losing money at it.

They are forecasting -26C for Saturday night. How is the frost down south where you live?
I didn't know Sask was the center of the known universe.

Someone should let Toronto know.

Better yet, Minot North Dakota. That way they never get frost, and the product pipelines that can't exist there... well you should get the point by now.

It's probably going to be colder 1000km further north west in Ft Crack too. Come fix the frost and velocity issues so we can pipe JP/Diesel/Gasoline without diluting the snot out.

I'm still amazed that there are people claiming that you can't send refined products in a pipeline, or, when shown to be wrong, claim that you use gravity to send it long distances.

What types do you plan on piping at what velocity, volume, over what terrain and climate? How many on that map go over a mtn range?

Well Laverne and Shirley what is stopping Canadians from doing it? The guy in the Dodge?

Isn't that amazing! Good thing you can do that indoors. It might freeze if you had that outdoors.

Don't forget to drain your garden hose before freeze up.

So you keep telling me.

You have to go to Minot North Dakota and tell those silly Americans that what they're doing, can't be done.

How hard is it to become an expert in everything like you?
