What makes you believe you are the first guy to think of piping across the border and nobody ever thought of it before?

Do you know Jack? Jack Frost? One truck out the loop is a 7 minute break in the supply chain. If Mr Frost kept his ass up north with Santa Claus we'd be in great shape.

P.S. Fuel oil for heating is still heavily used in the US. It's low CN and shallow frost (if any) and pipe make it feasible to distribute.

What would really make the most sense is small scale gasoline diesel and JP refineries enroute of the big pipe to feed the heavy crude refineries being built in TX and LA and absolute insane number of chemical companies that use the by-products of high quality refinement.

How would Nebraska like to have rail cars full of extremely toxic petro-chems going overland to supply the awaiting chemical companies on the Gulf Coast?

Our capacity for that is at CCRL is some of the highest refined quality right up to pharmaeutical grade. Along with the nitrogen plant at nearby Belle Plaine they could make millions of pounds of valium a day.

No doubt he never visits Minnesota.

Still expensive trucks.
Have mentioned the Mississippi yet?

Sorry dude. Mass quantities would have to be so diluted to lower flash point that it doesn't work $$$ wise. Not to mention the high number of different products and return lines for the methylnaphthalene making costs even more higher, even more prone to breaks, pump failures and shut downs.

Socialist Action Plan money is already long being spent on stronger highways to handle the load. Obama matched with with a shiny new border station for trucks on the Dakota side.

So when are you going to come and set up your tipi on the Prairie, strike an arc and build some refineries?
