I can't draw any conclusions. Its suspicious and I agree with detaining these guys until their stories check out.

You seemed to draw a big old conclusions in this post...

Today's news:
US passengers arrested in Amsterdam - Europe - Al Jazeera English

Likely if the guy's bags hadn't been sent to the wrong flight, they'd be having a completely different day right now....

My opinion is, it seems suspicious, I personally would have ordered the men go on unhindered and tailed.

Cell phones taped together. Box cutters and knives taped together. A cell phone taped to a bottle of Pepto-Bismal.

The reason why according to a relative of one of the men...

"It is part of our culture."

Well ain't that the truth!

Is that detailed in the Quran?

Why wouldn't this aspect of the Islamic culture be well known. It isn't as if this is the first time a Muslim has flown with those items in their luggage, wouldn't somebody have seen this before?

LMAO. Hmmmm...somehow I think they left that part out.

Beats me. It should be well known by now that taping box cutters and knives together and cell phones to bottles of Pepto-Bismal is part of the culture. We should be more tolerant. :)

The two suspects were released by Dutch authorities today. BUT.. I too wonder what the object of this was to begin with. At least the system seems to work at times.

Work would mean their gizmoes were found before the plane left the gate. Instead of making examples, maybe authorities should be making changes. Stuff is still getting into places where BOOM is a really bad thing.

I still don't know what this is about. Besides the above it could also be a system test which accidentally made the news, an anti-America publicity stunt, a foreign operative training mission... ????

"They are before the eyes of the world portrayed as terrorists,” he told Dutch media.

I smell "My feelings were hurt, gimme money now. Money make it all better."

Are cell phones easier to use when they don't come with chargers, manuals, all the accessories?

Is pepto a commodity in short supply around the world? I thought ginger was a big spice in the middle east?

Does pepto taped to a cell phone have some sort of religious affectation?

Wouldn't you have a cover story? Like the pedo's that write letters saying they're just going to go and see if they can help the child, before bringing beer and condoms to underage perspective sexual partners?

F!kkin American's, it was just them setting up Islam to look bad, with the help of the Joos, donchya know, lol.

Anyone watching fox news knew about that last night:roll::lol:;-)
Are you saying Faux news was the first to broadcast that last night DaS?

You mean they actually broadcast news?

I like this piece I found on Faux News...

YouTube - 'Luxury' Mall Opens In Gaza

Which direction was Faux spinning this news?

"This man says." from the new luxury mall. "That many homes haven't been rebuilt since the last conflict"...

But we got this new mall!!!

And some say that Faux news doesn't show all sides?????
The more I research Faux News, the more respect I have for it.

The Op/Ed stuff I can take or leave as it I agree or disagree with it's content or context, but for straight news, they seem to show a balance. Which is quite surprising considered the right lean of the Op/Ed stuff.

And yes, to all those people out there haven't clue one what it looks like. That's what it looks like when you have to admit you've made an error in your opinion.

Bookmark it and return to it often, until you can do the same...

CDNBear, I wish you'd stop referring to FOX News as "FAUX News", unless you did it to underscore your point.

You are a better and smarter person than to repeat that idiocy, which is seeped in envy and hate.

True, but I've been typing it for years.

Heheh...at least it's not Larry King's mamby pamby interviews:lol:
Hey, I like King!!!

Must be that sycophantic fixation I have with the Joos. ;-)

Not surprised you think Fox News is a credible source to get information,
and I find it hilarious.
