That's rich coming from a Yank.

The ones that saved your butts over and over.

According to your very own President, the plane was in Turkish territory for a matter of seconds (although I'm siding with the Russians who say it wasn't in Turkish territory at all). This was a massive overreaction by the trigger-happy Turks which could have grave global consequences.

The Russians better learn how to navigate.

I still can't believe the Turks... THE TURKS... splashed a Russian jet.

Grave consequences... meh... if the Turks... THE TURKS... can flame a Russian jet the Russians have a lot of work to do.

It was the British and the Russians who won WWII.

Brits were support troops for the most part. The hardest fighters in the Commonwealth Forces were Canadians and ANZACS... as usual.

No, it was the Russians and British in Europe.

Nope. Just the war in the Pacific against the Nips did. The war in Europe ended months before, thanks to the British and Russians.

That may well be, but Britain was doing research into producing nuclear weapons before any other country did.

Also, Britain's priority during the war was in Europe against the Hun and not in the Pacific against the Nips.

Brittain was irrelevant in WWII. England was used as a staging area for US and Commonwealth Troops. And let's not even talk about the Pacific. The Brit Navy ran from the IJN in 1941 at the first shot and didn't turn up until 1945. lol

The Americans bombed the Hospital......

Doctors Without Borders continues to demand an independent war crimes probe of the U.S. bombing of its hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan.

Obama apologizes to Doctors Without Borders for U.S. bombing of hospital

THE hospital?

The Russians haven't stopped bombing hospitals since they started.

Twelve Syria hospitals hit by airstrikes as Russian jets bombard country - Telegraph

You're just salty. Emperor Putin has no clothes.

Normally, don't feed the troll is good intel ... but in the case of a certain pompous Brit nit wit, it may well be very entertaining to set it in the middle of something that isn't Brit and watch it explode

That's why we do it. Captain Pugwash proved long ago that entertainment value is all he's got.

Which is why the rent-boys are so hot for him.

It is a very frustrating time for them. Since the beginning of October we've seen nothing but failure from the Russians in Syria from weapons platforms to politics. The cost in lives and treasure just climbs for the Russians.

I have to hand it to Obama... he called it. That must sting.

Yeah, well, ain't like "incompetent and brutal Russians" is all that hard a prediction to make.

It seems that a heat signature shows it was shot down in Syrian airspace.

By the way, the Turks are very good at encroaching onto foreign territory themselves, and each of those times - when they went into Iraq in 1995, 1997 and 2008 - lasted for more than 17 seconds.

Which means they're not allowed territorial integrity, right, Captain Pugwash?

The fact that they intruded into Iraq seven years ago (if true) means that they should not be allowed to demand control of their airspace. That's your logic.

1) You have no evidence the plane strayed into Turkish territory;

2) Even if it did enter Turkish territory, it seems that it was for 17 seconds and therefore posed almost no threat whatsoever to Turkey's sovereign integrity. The Turks massively over-reacted;

3) A heat signature - seen by at least one American official - shows the plane was shot down in Syrian airspace, and the Turkish planes which shot it down may have been on Syrian airspace as they did so;

4) A Russian airman was killed by Turkish-allied rebels - a serious war crime.

I'll say again that you Yanks really need to get over your anti-Russian fixation. The Cold War ended 25 years ago, and so did the Soviet Union. We should now be going ahead with France's plan of forming a coalition with the Russians to fight ISIS. Unless you don't want ISIS defeated...

As for Turkey, it's an Islamist-run, ISIS-sympathetic state. It should be kicked out of Nato and told it will never join the EU, and least not until it sees the errors of its way and sorts itself out.
