He really is one sick SOB. We have seen only a glimpse of his cruelty. That's Why he and Kim and Putin have a mutual admiration society now......... they aero f the same ilk. He takes sadistic pleasure in hurting others......be it via twitter or in his verbal abuses .....

His clone Sarah (press sec) is just as bad. Quoting the damn bible to justify their draconian laws. Shameful
(sorry Gopher and bones etc) Why is it that his clones are interpreting his CRUELTY as "strength?? THey can't even see that treating these people this way is something despot nations are likely to do.

Trump officials telling people at the border they are taking their kids to give them a bath, then they don't return them.

A shameful moment for a country that calls itself great.

Disgraceful.

Little wonder Trump would not bring up "human rights" with Kim.....as his own country is shamefully abusing them nw.
The prejudices that still exist in America are against human rights too. What America believes about itself and what the reality is.....are two different things. what they are doing at their border is INHUMANE and something one might find in grossly BACKWARD countries. But then Trump is turning the US into an authoritarian state. They Are gradually losing their freedom of speech and the press. Unless the media promotes the Trump line. Any media that speaks truths /facts about trump and does not flatter him.........is degraded and threatened.

Transparency?? Well.Trump is very transparent. . He is transparently CRUEL/MALICIOUS and SELFISH. The qualities of a dictator.

I still have enough faith in the resilience of the American system with it's many checks and balances that they MAY fix themselves. Enough Americans are aware of what is amiss right now to make it a possibility.

Big maybe ...

I guess when Trump became a politician, some people thought he was going to quit being a grifting con-man. Silly fools! :)

Big maybe indeed.

Something major has changed. Trump has unleashed an atmosphere where the ugliness of mankind is becoming"acceptable". Greed is good. Selfishness is just fine, Cruelty .......is the new law and order premise , inhumanity is policy (border situation) etc etc. Once this ugly genie is released out of the bottle..... it is hard to reverse it. One can only hope they learn and SEE the destructive path they are on.......(self destructive too)

When they start quoting scriptures to justify their inhumane LAWS........you KNOW there is a big problem . That the social fabric is deteriorating rapidly and culture is reverting to a more prehistoric time were primal emotions and desires ruled. There is a process taking place that is both subtle and obvious. gradual movement into a more autocratic style of thinking ......while supporting the same in their leadership. They are becoming less civilized as they interpret authoritarianism as "strength " The fact that they are nuked up to their eyebalsl........is also very concerning.......given the instability of their leader.

No, but very concerned.

IF creating fear in a population is ok with you .......then an authoritarian regime is what you are looking for.Your lunatic hero , who can't express a coherent thought or string a rational sentence together. is starting to fit the bill.

ref: todays impromptu press conference.

oh And Trump now says that he admires how Kims staff all sit at attention when he is present.......and would like HIS staff to do the same.

"Sitting at attention"...…………….how terrible! When I was a kid in the Boy Scouts we had to STAND at attention! Now, THAT was an ordeal.

Trump has the power to change minds instantly: Favorable view of Canada has dropped from 94% to 66%

This, in fact, is the poignant and quite bonkers script in Trump’s head: that the economy was in free-fall until he took office, after which it soared; that he alone has brought black and Hispanic unemployment down; that his administration has accomplished more than any other at this point in its term; that the Democrats colluded with the Kremlin to try to rig the election; that Robert Mueller is a closet Democrat; that climate change is a hoax; that the American-created international trading system was designed to hurt the U.S.; that you can borrow over a trillion dollars in a full employment economy with no consequences in inflation or debt; and that sabotaging the ACA will lead to lower premiums, greater choice, and better health outcomes for all. Each one of these assertions is what he wants to be true. And so they are true. As the chairwoman of the GOP just explained to any skeptics left in the formerly conservative party: “Anyone that does not embrace the Donald Trump agenda of making America great again will be making a mistake.”

The bad news is that a vast chunk of the American public wants all this to be true as well. If you had any doubts that the GOP is now a cult, this week’s primary results should put them to rest. Republican voters have decided that they will follow their leader no matter what he says, and if that means changing their minds on a dime, so be it. Take Canada. Not so long ago, it was funny to attack our benevolent neighbor to the north. Countless episodes of South Park wouldn’t have worked without the baseline of reality that Canada is about as good and boring a neighbor as you can possibly imagine. But Trump has the power to change minds instantly. So in February this year, 94 percent had a favorable view of Canada. Now, only 66 percent have a favorable view, with 13 in opposition and 22 percent suddenly unsure. Only two years ago, free trade was as solid a shibboleth for the GOP as it gets; now, it’s anathema, even for Larry Kudlow! And watching every Republican senator, apart from McCain, Flake, and Corker (all retiring), stay utterly silent after their president praised a mass-murdering dictator and gave him a global PR coup … well, it’s no longer surprising, but it should remain shocking.

Only the GULLIBLE SHEEP will subscribe to his delusions. Mind you there is a lot of group think in America and his is manipulating them very effectively.

IF those numbers are right.....then Americans are more stupid and gullible than at first thought. AND seriously BRAINWASHED.

How tragic. The damage that Trump is doing is becoming incalculable. But it is possible that Americans want to move to an authoritarian style of leadership as democracy is not satisfying to them.

Then CDA will be stuck between two dictatorships. NOT good. as Trump is enamoured with Putin.....and would do his bidding.
