WTF happened to the Republicans. Somewhere along the road they took a 180 and went off the deep end.
It mostly happened during the Reagan years when the Republicans convinced themselves that they are not their brother's keepers, that greed is good and to think any other way is unpatriotic.
Also,during that period, American Christianity was hijacked by Television Evangelism and it became a form of infotainment instead of a philosophy.
