Trump Brands Democrats 'Anti-Israel,' 'Anti-Jewish'

President Donald Trump said Friday that a recent U.S. House of Representatives vote condemning bigotry shows the opposition Democrats have become an "anti-Israel" and "anti-Jewish" party.
"I thought yesterday's vote by the House was disgraceful," Trump told reporters at the White House. "The Democrats have become an anti-Israel party and anti-Jewish party."
The Republican president spoke a day after the vote on a resolution originally intended to condemn anti-Semitism following controversial comments by Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar that instead became a broader anti-hate measure.

Trump to release $4.7 trillion budget that locks in $1 trillion deficits, boosts military spending and cuts to social safety net

President Trumps new budget proposal would sustain a huge gap between spending and tax revenue through 2022, according to an advance copy obtained by The Washington Post. The deficit proposals reflect the White Houses push for low taxes and higher defense spending and are only partially offset by major spending reductions on Medicare, Medicaid and other domestic programs.

Democrats on Capitol Hill have said many parts of the plan stand no chance of becoming law, but the proposal sets up a sharp contrast for the public and voters heading into budget fights later this year and the 2020 election.

Trump administration plans to close all 21 international immigration offices, a move that could delay visas, citizenship petitions

The United States is preparing to shutter all international offices of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, moving those duties to domestic offices and the State Departments embassies and consulates. The move could slow the processing of family visa applications and foreign adoptions, as well as citizenship petitions from members of the military.
