As I've pointed out, Al Capone had a criminal record on exactly one charge: tax evasion. So I presume you conclude that he wasn't a mob boss, didn't run a crime syndicate, and didn't have people killed. Just fiddled his books some.

Seriously, are you so staggeringly stupid that you actually think not having a criminal record means you didn't do something wrong? I would point out that Bill Clinton has no criminal record, and in the only significant trial he ever stood, was ACQUITTED. Yet the Arkansas Bar disbarred him, and he faced some other consequences. Which by your logic was a travesty of justice because he was never convicted in a criminal court.

But enough with your lame dodges, which I've exploded completely. I understand, JLM. You want a hard-right, racist, sexist theocrat, who has stated on record that "God's law" and not the Constitution is the supreme law of the United States, in the U.S. Senate. You want it so bad that the fact that there is credible, widely-believed evidence that he molested a child and creeped on a number of teens when he was in his 30s doesn't stand in your way. You have no standard whatsoever for a senior official except white, male, Christian, straight, and hating anybody who isn't all of the above.

It's probably best just to end the discussion. It just brings out the trolls of which there are at least two. You hit the nail on the head with there never being 100% certainty, my reason for not calling the guy a pervert or molester. I probably made some statements I shouldn't have where an "I disagree" would have sufficed, but no, the trolls swarm in and jump all over me. Being called child molester if a hurtful thing, especially when one is the exact opposite. Can you imagine the mentality of people who would try to make something of the self evident statement "there is a huge difference between a 9 year old girl and a 14 year old fully developed woman"? (There are such things you know) F-cking Putz and Avro didn't surprise me but you and Cord did as I was sure you both knew better! That's what I just said. You've shown us what you are. I didn't read past the part of your post I quoted, because to be honest, it really bothers me to hear a man who seems to be a decent, normal Canadian say, in essence, that he's completely OK with having a kiddy fiddler in the U.S. Senate, and that no level of disgusting personal conduct will turn him away from a man who pursues the thug agenda he favors.
