Can Donald Trump Pay Off the National Debt in 8 Years?

In a recent interview, presidential candidate Donald Trump said he would pay off the nation’s $19 trillion debt “over a period of eight years.”

Is it possible probably not, but the whole argument you and I are having is whether Trump claimed he would pay down debt, isn't it Hoid?

He also said he would build a wall and Mexico would pay for it.

As your link says, he will double the US debt.

Opinion of the reporter, irrelevant you were denying the claim of paying down the debt., and now you want to deflect

So the link you provided was irrelevant?

OK.

Show me where I denied he made the claim.

Show me where I denied he made the claim.

You denied he had any intention to pay down debt, meaning you were wrong he has intentions of paying down debt, so he says

he will never pay down the debt because that does not matter anymore.
So the link you provided was irrelevant?

Yes the article was irrelevant the headline is relevant for proof that The Don wants to pay down debt, the rest of the drivel of the anti Trump article means nothing for 8 years

Watch in 2019 when he starts paying down debt. with the surplus he will accumulate this year. Would he be the first POTUS in history to pay down debt?

Thanks to Trump's tax cuts the US debt is increasing at an ever faster rate. Where is he going to get the money to pay down anything?

Neither North or South Korea declares war for the United States.

(not that it was a declared war)
