At least we know Trump is a 'true American'. (as deranged as any)

TEHRAN (FNA)- In yet another sign that the US government has no intention to withdraw its occupying troops from Syria, the Trump administration says it has raised $300 million to “stabilize” the part of Syria under US control and occupation.
This funding included $100 million from Saudi Arabia. US officials also insist this won’t mean a military pullout. In other words, the Trump Caliphate and its cronies are not in Syria just to end the central government in Damascus. They are there to also occupy the country forever, “contain Iran”, and destabilize the entire region for a foreseeable future.
Lest we forget, if it weren’t for Yemen, it might be hard to imagine a more miserable place in 2018 than Syria. Since 2011, when the US and company planned to unseat President Bashar Assad, more than half the country’s pre-war population of 22 million has become internally displaced or refugees, according to numbers from the UN High Commission on Refugees. Actual casualty figures are impossible to pin down with any exactitude. In April 2018, however, different reports by the UN and rights groups put the number of directly caused deaths at 511,000, including fighters and civilians.
There is plenty of blame to go around and plenty of actors to shoulder that blame. But the biggest culprit in all this has to be Washington and its so-called neoconservatives who continue to offer Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu their “Clean Break” strategy to rebuild the Middle East to the Christian-Zionist liking.
That plan started with unseating Iraqi autocrat Saddam Hussein and went on to destabilize Syria. It proved to be a nightmare. Lest we forget, one of that plan’s loudest advocates during the Bush administration - John Bolton - is now Trump’s national security advisor. In other words, there is plenty of blame to go around and plenty to worry about this time around.

Isn't the American Thinker more closely aligned with right wing politics? I would be more impressed with a publication that is neutral. Do you not feel the American Thinker might be "stacked" against Obama?
There is little to no neutral commentary.

The Dow is down 1,000 points on the year

Insignificant trivia. The facts - The Dow is now at a higher level than it's been at any time in history except for a small handful of days around January 18 when it spiked and THAT due to the anniversary of Trump taking office. Like I've said several times "figures can lie and liars can figure". :) :) :)

Blame it on the black guy.
And Obama's big deficits were temporary. Trump's are permanent.

Trump trillion-dollar-plus deficits are putting America on a path to fiscal ruin

...

Unlike the trillion dollar budget deficits that occurred during the Obama administration that were temporary and largely the*result of the Great Recession, the Trump deficits that will soon reach and*exceed $1 trillion*are permanent and will only get worse in the years ahead.

The Trump deficits are the result of changes in federal spending and revenue*that will continue to be in place until some president and Congress decide to reverse them, that is, to increase taxes and make cuts to popular programs.

Not only has there been little appetite to do that, many in Congress and the Trump administration seem to be hellbent on ignoring the deficit and national debt and increasing spending and reducing revenue*even further.

No mention of him stealing money. FAKE. FAKE LINK!!! All presidents are worth more after being in office. And alot of that comes from two books Obama wrote before he was president. Don't hate him because he is popular around the whole planet.

No big surprise there. Every president since Clinton has made millions giving paid speeches and Obama's book was a best seller. The road to riches is pretty well automatic if you are a US president.

Don't worry about it.

I have it on good authority that the truth isn't the truth.

Dow is down since Feb 1.

Not to mention GE!

Unless you bought in on Feb.1 that date is totally irrelevant. Before I buy and sell mutual funds I look at where there been. You buy on the way down and you sell on the way up! Generally speaking.

The point is you keep saying that the Dow is amazing when in fact it is totally underperforming
