I'm trying to get a handle on how the whole election stuff works in the US because it's so complicated. From what I can understand, I think the "super delegate" thingy should be illegal! How can Americans stand for those who have various "positions" can out vote those who vote in the primaries? It doesn't make any sense to me. The Dems, if I understand correctly, can negate any of the primaries if the super delegates agree and all vote for whomever they want.
The GOP on the other hand must vote for whomever wins the primaries. Have I got this correct? Seems to me the GOP way is the better option although I'd simply get rid of the super delegate thing period.
Help me out here....
