If you are having an affair, and don't want to have it public knowledge, I would think the last thing you would want to do is run for president. Seems to guarantee it will be found out about.

I'm trying to get a handle on how the whole election stuff works in the US because it's so complicated. From what I can understand, I think the "super delegate" thingy should be illegal! How can Americans stand for those who have various "positions" can out vote those who vote in the primaries? It doesn't make any sense to me. The Dems, if I understand correctly, can negate any of the primaries if the super delegates agree and all vote for whomever they want.

The GOP on the other hand must vote for whomever wins the primaries. Have I got this correct? Seems to me the GOP way is the better option although I'd simply get rid of the super delegate thing period.

Help me out here....

The entire American political system is in need of a major overhaul. It is almost entirely run by money and the ridiculous drawn out primary system is winnable only by candidates who have huge financial support. There is so much wrong with so-called US democracy that it is hard to know where to start, but campaign financing would be a start. Get rid of the PACS and super-Pacs for a start and then go from there.

Everything has always been about money. When did it become specific to one thing ?
