That is assuming that The Trump regime has had anything to do with the economy with the policies it has put in place.
It usually takes years to see an economic policy have an affect. The last significant one I can remember that had an immediate effect was when Mulroney brought in the GST.
Since Donald hasn't done anything but post angry tweets, I doubt he's had any effect. Markets love stability so one could argue he's done more harm than good and the economy would be stronger without him in the Whitehouse.
In any event politician's popularity almost always rises and falls with the economy so it's very interesting that his continues to sag.
