Import duties are not the end of the world , we have been dealing with them forever . As long as our products are viable there will be a market for them .
No matter what CDA does..........it will NOT be enough. If we get aggressive with our response to his threats, tariffs, He will up the anti. Blame CDA and find an excuse to "annex " CDA . Don't think many fully realize what a sinister ruthless tyrant he really i s. His mindset is from ancient times. Divide and conquer, and find some "national security" excuse to take over CDA and all it has to offer. He is a danger to the free world. He has made sure that there are no guardrails to stop him. The legal system has lost against him given the privileges he assumes in his position. The courts (most) are in his pocket. and he believes he has absolute power(is untouchable) .He is targeting those areas he considers easy with economic threats/ in order to weaken them. And he is being helped in his plan by CDNS that don't like CDA (the country they live in) Like many red hatters , they have been seduced by his "tough talk ......which is nothing more thatn psychotic bullying ) In his delusional mind..........."why should he import from CDA when he can simply take over the country and resources ?) Just like he renames the Gulf of Mexico......because he wants to claim that body of water . He does not tke no for an answer without getting his revenge . What is really concerning is that too many don't understand the kind of person he is or don't want to. as one of his buddies in power said: " we can just weaken CDA economically and CDA will decline.......... leaving it vulnerable for the take over. They are now totally open about it.......

BC Hydro imported a record amount of electricity from the United States in the 2023/24 fiscal year. This was due to low water levels and a growing demand for electricity.
In 2023/24, BC Hydro imported 13,600 gigawatt hours of electricity, which was more than two and a half times the amount the Site C dam produces in a year.
The cost of these imports was nearly $1.4 billion.

I don't know. Taxslave thinks voting power should depend on acreage (hectarage?). If that's true, maybe the U.S. should become the eleventh Canadian province.

United States of Canada, being a monarchy republic something something.
We’d take 56 electoral votes (based upon population & not acreage), 6 senators, common currency, the Gulf of Mexico would have to be renamed the Gulf of Canada, & three Maple Leafs on the flag (50 stars, 3 Maple Leafs, 13 Stripes, & a partridge in a pear tree).
Might have to make the flag 15%-20% longer (to be negotiated) to accommodate the extra characters on the flag.
With Canada’s (break it into three states if you wish) leftword leaning comparatively to the US, & a voting block comparable to California, this would effectively make the Republicans extinct as a political party, but that’s just serendipity.
Just spitballing here. . . how about the three-way split the Canadian flag currently has. . . in the left third, the blue field with stars above red-and-white stripes; the middle third white with the red maple leaf; and the right third the red-and-white stripes of the U.S. flag?
Or maybe just a solid-blue flag with "Fuck yeah, eh?" written on it.
Y'know I'd love to see these so called "Patriotic Canadians" change their "Fuck Trudeau" flags for "Fuck Trump" ones.
Not that it'd happen, because these same knuckle dragging morons think Trump is great; you know, Boomer's BFF's.
