Assiniboine starts as a spring in Porcupine and that is some sweet, clean water.

Lots of good "shine" comes out of Porcupine.

A friend of mine had a family ranch (weekend) out near Caroline AB.... They had an old artesian well on the property. Basically it was a rusty old pipe jammed into the ground that expelled the water under it's own pressure.

Although the exterior of the pipe was rusty, the inner surface and top were chalk white from all the mineral deposits that had accumulated over the years.

It was bloody great stuff

They didn't get anemic or have as bad of osteoarthritis or need supplements when people drank ground water

Yes West of Brandon next week and then West of Morden the week after. Not sure after that I think East of Regina

I was just there for a couple days. Never saw you on here to message to ask if you'd like to go for a beer.

Pipelining through Alta we were always on the lookout for artesian water veins made a mess in the open ditch a lot of times we would HD under them. Would love to find one our farm :)

Can't help but wonder what kind of negative health consequences we face due to our living in a pharmacological society and 'knowing better' relative to a generation like our grand parents.

Water filtration was rudimentary at best, grew their own veggies and didn't get their panties in a bunch if they had a little dirt in their diet.

Guess that we just know better now

In 1860, Canada didn't even exist. We were still a British colony and it is the British that should have exonerated them. Trudeau, as per usual, is trying to look like a compassionate dweeb while sticking it to the indigenous peoples in the butt with Kinder Morgan and Site C.
you get the greenie on general principle, but in reality it is the colony of British Columbia that should apologize and Canada is their direct ancestor. So I believe the Trudeau apology is apt.

Not at all , we were a colony of Great Britain , if anyone should apologize for modern interpretation of events from 158 years ago it should be theBritish crown .

Coca Cola (Disani) proved in YVR that you can filter tap water, bottle it and sell it for a premium

Better'n that, in the early days of the bottled-water craze, a couple of guys started selling New York City tap water, labelled "New York City Tap Water." They made a few million and hung it up.

Not at all , we were a colony of Great Britain , if anyone should apologize for modern interpretation of events from 158 years ago it should be the British clown .

Fixed that fer ya.

It's about time. If Trudie waited much longer, all the new immigrants here won't even know who they were.
