I've posted this chart several times, but I guess you just keep on missing it. Note that Pierre Trudeau's contribution to the debt ended in 1984. After that it was all PC up to 1993. Then the Libs took over again and note the surpluses up until 2008 when Harper took over. By contrast the amount that Justin Trudeau is adding is relatively small, given that he has only been in power one year.

Politicians don't play with their money so have no qualms about following pierres' lead in spending other folks hard earned loonies cons included. The truly shameful money grubbing scheme foisted upon us by libs was the raiding of health care funds and then claiming a 'surplus'. Witness the current health care me$$ that junior wants to attack yet again.
