Yeah, this is why your bleat about "the greatest good for the greatest number over the greatest time" is bullshit. It's unknowable.

(It also argues against the concept of rights.)

I should clarify.

Even though it's not entirely knowable, it's up to us to find out what that is as best we can.

Rights are a social construct based on utilitarianism.

Abortion, for example, is a good right for women to have. However, if we were in some universe where the human race was losing people at an alarming rate, you would see that right get tested.

If the CBC said that the sun rises in the west, and that was the same statement of the current government who was funding them, and the CBC stuck to the statement that the sun rises in the west, that also doesn’t prove that either the sun rises in the west or that they’re beholden to the hand feeding them. I get it.

It also doesn’t make you a misogynist racist fringe minority for thinking that the sun might actually rise in the east though…

Also if you can smell smoke it doesn’t necessarily mean that there’s a fire, but maybe you’re just smelling burnt toast and you’re just having a stroke. Generally though as a rule of thumb if there’s smoke…
Yep, there you have it. "The CBC says some things that are favorable to the government." True. "The CBC receives money from the government." Also true. "This proves that the CBC is beholden to the government." Waaay-HEEEY off the diving board there, bunky.

People calling you names still bothers you? How old are you, eight?

Yeah, another version of that last "rule of thumb" is "Black people commit more crimes than White people (false), therefore whenever anybody is killed the police should limit their investigation to Black people."

It stands to reason!

Once again, are you truly that unaware??
The CBC has been bailed out by government for decade upon decade. The government is the CBC rich uncle, it gives them money annually....and lots of it. Almost all of the 36 million Canadians know that LOL
And the majority of Canadians are opposed to it. Yet you turdOWE bootlickers gobble up the lefty garbage they spew.

That crazy fat kid was one of the better things to happen to American politics. If nothing else, he shook up the political class and terrified leftards.

Not the point. You babble about "the majority" wanting this or that like it's the word from the burning bush.

Until the word is something you don't like.

Do you have a principle beyond "I win?" Is there any circumstance under which you could lose fairly under the rules and not piss and moan?

Aha...your true colours have come out LOL
A Trumpite burst out LOL
No. More like an anti establishment reality. The political system in the US, and to a lesser degree in Canada is rigged in favour of the political class. Trump had the financial clout to break that barrier. We must retake our country from the established political class and return power to the electorate.
I know all this is frightfully complicated for you, but if you follow along with us, you may just learn something.

Nothing frightfully complicated at all but your saying "We must retake our country from the established political class and return power to the electorate." is possibly the dumbest thing you ever said. LOL
What exactly does the electorate do but elect politicians to speak for them, hence making and establishing the "political class"??? LOL
