Homicide (note spelling, dipshit) is any action, or in some cases inaction, that leads to the death of a human being. Levels of intent will determine whether a given homicide is murder and the degree of the murder, manslaughter and the degree of the manslaughter, or negligent homicide.

I am kind if surprised WalMart would fire her for reporting abuse. That seems either wrong or not the real reason for termination,
I saw the story elsewhere as well. But in a lot of the cases of someone being fired, they usually don't tell the whole story or there is more to the story than what they are telling.
Of course there is more. If this person were unjustly fired they'd be filling a labour board claim and cashing in not going on tictac.
Except it doesn't work like that, so... not an excuse.
I'm not surprised. The excuse "it wasn't reported to the proper supervisor" is just that, an excuse.
