A verbal noun is called a gerund.

A verbal noun is a noun that is derived from a verb, usually by adding the suffix -ing in English. Verbal nouns are used all the time in English. I am playing football. I was going by bicycle.

(With 'props' to my grade 8 teacher Miss Burtwell!) :)

Neither of those is a gerund. As used in the sentences, they are verbs.

A gerund would be "Swimming is my favourite sport."

After 70 years, sure, it's bullshit.

You really have an aversion to science, don't you? Progression? Further learning? You'd be one of those types who'd keep us in caves still if you had a say in it.
You need to learn the difference between science and the ramblings of paid hacks.
What is your aversion to caves? No real difference between a cave and a hi rise, except direction. Oh, caves are safer in an earthquake.

Paid hacks for 70 years?

Maybe the only "hack" are people like you who don't want to understand science beyond what you learned in high school.

What is your aversion to caves?

Nothing really. Just your idea of it and mine would be different.

Sure.

Also can be just as dangerous.

So when are you giving up all modern life to go live in whatever cave you can find? Cause... science is full of "paid hacks", after all.

I thought it was hilarious that he got upset at being called Madam Chair, and then said his pronoun was "Chairman". Pretty sure "Chairman" isn't technically a pronoun.
Technically, neither is "Madam."

The definition of "pronoun" is "a noun that has lost its amateur status by accepting remuneration for its participation."

Pretty much.

But this video pointed out that these people are trying to/did pass a 'you can't force people what to call you' bill, so when the woman greeted the Chairman, it was with "Madam". And he didn't LIKE being called "Madam", he said "Mr." or "Chairman".

He missed the point entirely.

Probably lost it in his face-bush.

Along with half of his breakfast.
