I'm really sure what Gerry's issue with abortion is. "The law" says it's allowed and since he's used this argument to defend some of his other positions, he does seem to come off as a bit of a hypocrite.

Your really sure are you. Then why don't you explain it.

You look silly crying about hypocrisy.

I'm not saying that to convince anyone to be against abortion, I just think we need to be a whole lot more controlled over why we abort

I have no problem with that. You can control why you abort, and I'll control why I abort.

Hopefully, gerry can control why he aborts.

I dont have a problem with your solution of everyone controlling their own affairs, except I doubt that it will do anything to positively affect our 43 abortions per 100 live births. If we want that number to go down, there will have to be some form of intervention.

I'm not sure that we need that number to go down. Is there some inherent reason why it should?

The law says it's OK. Get over it. It's the law.

the law says it's OK for the abortion rate to be 1 million abortions per 100 live births. Perhaps that is enough reason for you to accept such a rate?

Who says I accept the rate? You are confusing my stance on abortion with my enjoyment at pointing out Gerry's hypocrisy.

Oh don't ignore him, just keep asking to prove all the claims he's made, that his to cowardly to answer.

It's much more fun watching him twist your words, to avoid doing something, he himself chastises others for failing to do.

Who said I have no opinion? You haven't bothered to even ask me if I have one. You seem to like to jump to a lot of conclusions.

good point, I must apologize for my use of words. in most cases, I think they are humans ( ie an individual life) long before they are aborted.

feel free to clarify anytime
