I am not a big Trudeau fan however the obsession with him by the Tories is slowly
changing my mind. This election could be about the Stupid things said by Trudeau
up against the blatant lies told by Harper and the Military over spending top ten up
against how Mulcair spends his money. Actually I am willing in this next election to
vote for who has the best chance to get rid of Harper. I can put up with mild stupidity
after all Toronto puts up with Ford. What I can't put up with is the deceit the Tories
have used for a long time. The difference between Ford and Harper? Ford is just
stupid and an addict. Harper is cold and cunning with a vent for dismantling our
social safety net and I am opposed to that

Who would you have chosen instead?

Among the Lieberals, I liked Bob Rae the most. I know his term as premier of Ontario sucked the bug one but he still struck me as the least objectionable of the party power people. Of course, personal feelings aside, I don't think he had a hope in hell in Ontario so his chances were over before he even announced.

You better rethink that one or you'll need two or three more deep pockets just to dig into for taxes! -:)

we've still had one

bitches rule

Actually I think Mulroney pretty well screwed her (in a political kind of way)-:)

Good God!........That means that there are more stupid liberals than I thought in Canada......

I thought that was obvious at the time of the Sponsorship Scandal!

Yeah, Rae was probably the least obnoxious and objectionable, but I didn't see too much muscle.

I like Bob Rae a lot, but he wasn't part of the race.

Even Joyce Murray's dog would have been better.

So you want the Liberals and the NDP to work together?

Race? Who really was running? 4 Lieberal has beens and Justine. It was more like a coronation (like the one they did with Iggy). Remember, he was undefeatable when the last election was called too.

Lol, I don't know what to tell you.

You said you preferred Rae. I pointed out that he did not enter the race. He didn't seek the leadership, however you want to say it.

Of course, with his name recognition, Trudeau was always the favorite.

One of the problems with politics as we found out here in B.C. about 28 years ago is that when "style" runs against "substance", style is most likely to win as happened here but turned into an absolute f**king disaster. I'm afraid that Junior might represent "Style" and unless people have smartened up in 28 years could well emerge the winner and embark on Trudeaugate #2.

The only reason that Junior is where he is today is the fact of who his father was, take that away and Junior is just like any other snot nosed kid with a bunch of big ideas. It totally blows my mind that anyone can take him seriously. He is as unpredictable as the wind.

A snot nosed kid?

He's 42 years old..... how old does one need to get before they're no longer a "Kid?"

I'm 34, I must be an infant.

Disclaimer:
I am not supporting Justin, nor would I ever vote Liberal.

Smarter than just-in but way too far left for most Canadians.

You asked me which Lieberal I preferred. I told you. Don't really care if he was in the 'race' or not.

Yep, I have a vivid recollection of when I was 34, pretty much at a watershed in my career, a lot of water has gone under the bridge since then and my attitudes and thoughts about a lot of sh*t has changed a lot since then. The biggest change is nothing is as certain now as it was then. And more things seem, the less they are! -:)
