You must be glad you live in such a functional country like Canada , one that has no warts , runs a balanced budget , and all areas of the country gaily walk in lockstep with our dear leader .

Sondland retracted his earlier testimony, McKinley called Pompeo a liar, etc. Yeah there was no quid pro quo alright. Trump's feckup has Trumplicans scrambling to defend him and all they can do is babble about procedure. (That means they have no ammunition against the evidence).

State Department official says Giuliani was engaged in a campaign 'full of lies and incorrect information' about former ambassador

In the transcript of his closed-door deposition, George Kent, the deputy assistant secretary of state responsible for Ukraine, criticized Rudolph W. Giuliani, President Trump's personal lawyer, for his comments about Marie Yovanovitch, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.

Kent testified that Giuliani's "assertions and allegations against former Ambassador Yovanovitch were without basis, untrue, period."

Kent and Yovanovitch are scheduled to testify next week in the first open hearings in the impeachment inquiry.
