Personally I think they need to move quicker on all this. I know that they should take their time and make sure they even have a case to bother with, but at the same time, leaving it late like this could make things go sideways for all involved.
Trump, this week, got an idea of how people really do think about him and he did not like it.
That has got to make him nervous as anything now.
I think that while this will go to the Senate, it will of course die there because Mitch won't do SFA about it this close to an election. He'll leave it for "the people" to decide.
Which may work in favor of the Dems, or may not, depends on what comes out during the hearings and actual trial part of the process.
