Oh yeah taking the Thanksgiving break to debate what the next move will be right Shifty Schiff?

White House Invited to Participate in Impeachment Hearing Next Week

Trump used the annual Turkey pardon to troll Adam Schiff's impeachment hearings

The shadow of impeachment darkened even the lighthearted turkey pardon on Tuesday, when President Donald Trump used his speech to make fun of the top Democratic leading the inquiry, Adam Schiff.
Presidents have been pardoning turkeys as far back as Abraham Lincoln's administration, and it's traditionally a family affair, with young relatives of the sitting president taking part and the president typically giving a humorous speech.
Trump certainly had jokes, but the opposing party may not have found them so funny. After detailing how the turkeys named "Bread" and "Butter" had been raised by farmer Wellie Jackson in North Carolina, Trump proceeded to crack a joke about how Rep. Adam Schiff was eyeing to have them testify in front of the House Intelligence Committee.
"Thankfully, Bread and Butter have been specially raised by the Jacksons to remain calm under any condition, which will be very important because they've already received subpoenas to appear in Adam Schiff's basement on Thursday. It's true, hundreds of people have," Trump said.
"It seems the Democrats are accusing me of being too hard on turkey,"
"But Bread and Butter, I thought should I note that unlike previous witnesses, you and I have actually met," Trump continued, referencing how some of the officials called to testify in the impeachment hearings didn't witness certain events firsthand.
Trump ended the ceremony by pardoning the bird named Butter. Bread, the alternate turkey, will also get to spend the rest of its life at Gobbler's Rest at Virginia Tech University.

Former Bill Clinton adviser Mark Penn counsels President Trump at White House on impeachment

Penn reassured the president he wouldn’t be removed from office, according to people familiar with the meeting, and encouraged him to travel the country as Clinton did during his 1998 impeachment battle.

House Judiciary to hold first impeachment hearing next week as panel decides whether to draft articles of impeachment against Trump

The hearing will be held on Dec. 4. The House Judiciary Committee is charged with whether to draft articles of impeachment against President Trump.

"The Committee intends this hearing to serve as an opportunity to discuss the historical and constitutional basis of impeachment, as well as the Framers' intent and understanding of terms like 'high crimes and misdemeanors,' " House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) wrote in a letter to Trump on Tuesday.

In the letter, Nadler asked whether Trump or his counsel plan to attend the hearing and question witnesses.

Some interesting impeach/remove from office numbers:

Trump has been polling 50% in this category for a couple of months now. IN fact he is spinning it as a positive that half of the country wanting to kick him out of office is a positive because it hasn't gone up.

Bill Clinton - who was impeached but not removed - never polled above 29%

W Bush polled 30%

Obama polled 33%

So I think we can surmise that there is roughly 30% of the people who are party partisan

And that sounds about right to me. Experience tells me that is in the ballpark.

President Game Show Host has now contradicted himself and Rudy by saying he did not direct him on the Ukraine thing.

So what do you do with a President who can't be compelled to testify because he will perjure himself?

Did he direct Rudy? Or just ask him to have a look into US corruption in Ukraine?

New evidence says he directed Giuliani. There's also Giuliani's statement saying exactly that. Everyone knows what a liar Trump is. There's more.
Besides that, Trump knew there was a whistleblower before the newsmedia and before he started denying quid pro quo. So unless he was clairvoyant he wouldn't have denied the quid pro quo before the newsmedia and the public knew about it. And that's why he cancelled the holdup on the aid.

Nicely summarized. The time line.....sequence is being filled in with facts.

Trump is not only a liar........ he changes his lies to fit the mood of the day.--er moment.

Of course that is not quite Fox news -Trump version........so the Trumpians will not accept it.

Appeals court grants 7-day stay on ruling that former White House counsel McGahn must comply with subpoena in impeachment inquiry

A federal appeals court on Wednesday evening stayed a lower-court ruling that Donald McGahn must comply with a House subpoena after the administration appealed, arguing the battle poses great consequences for the balance of power between the legislative and executive branches.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit granted a seven-day administrative stay while it considers a longer-term order, and fast-tracked oral arguments in the case for a hearing Jan. 3.
