It seems like on both sides of this issue it's just small group of people making a lot of noise and getting a lot of attention. I don't imagine the average Tim Horton's customer cares about the Enbridge ad, whether it's there or not.

Shmoke and a pancake. It makes ya lose focus to be blitzed at work when posting in forums on someone else's dime.

Timmies coffee sucks and their donuts are a day old.

If it's not a Krispy Kreme Donut, it's not fresh.

Made fresh inside the store.. you can buy them while they are still warm out of the oven.

...and they are pushing into Canada. ;)

We should all stop posting in this thread. Boomer's ego is getting really quite desperate. He's posting random promotions of Krispy Kreme just to bump his thread. It's very important that we all pay attention to the first thread on this topic.

Okay, maybe it won't make much of a difference to their business either way, but it is still newsworthy on a political level.

And sorry about the double post Boomer.

When these happen to my threads I just make a request to merge and the mods are good about getting that done in a timely fashion.

Now that I've responded to your broken record three times already, explain how boycotting a corporation a right-wing endeavor.

Boycotting is anti-capitalist in a sense, but capitalism doesn't mind being anti-capitalist if it (a) makes money or (b) defends the system as a whole. Boycotting a corporation for doing some supposedly "left-wing" might hurt the single corporation but it defends the system. The wayward corporation is disciplined for its lack of faith.

KK came they saw and they closed here in Ontario. Huge lines when they started, too fattening to be more than an occasional treat and therefore most stores are now closed.

Everything's going to be all right The big bad double thread will be merged, your tears will dry and the next day the sun will come up as always. Mark my words, Boomer, you'll feel just fine. I know how you're feeling now: angry, confused, injured. And that's OK. Boomer, listen to me, it's OK to be sad when you don't get what you want. But all these feelings pass.

Say, how about we all go for ice cream? As many sprinkles as you want. Atta boy. See? It's all good.

Thank you.. merge away.

...and Krispy Kreme is the best..

I'm surprised more Canadians haven't tried them.. they bake them fresh inside the store.. you can take a sample, still hot out of the oven..

Keep stroking...

Really they closed down??? (Every donut is fattening)

WOW!! I'm shocked. Every state they have pushed into they have been a success.

However, Timmies is pushing into New York State at the truck stops..

That's to bad..

Yeah, I think Timmy should just concentrate on trying to make a decent cup of coffee- if you want a decent cup in this town you go to Big Mac's.

I think both Boom boom and Sleepy are feeling a little out of sorts. I shot a few holes in their logic! :) :)

KK came to New England... initially the lines were out the door every weekend.

A few years later they were all gone.

This is DD Country!

Timmies, back in the day, made everything from scratch in-store.

People like different kinds of coffee. If you want the coffee equivalent of fountain pop, go to McDonald's. Some people like that. I prefer my coffee dark and strong, but sometimes I crave the kind of coffee you'd get in a diner. They're like different drinks. When you feel like a certain one, get that. Don't judge. It's all about taste.
