It will be interesting to see what happens next! My guess is "criminally not responsible" and within 3 years he'll be on the street on passes.

I sincerely hope not JLM.. that would be a slap in the face to the families of the fallen officers and to law enforcement..

And I imagine it was a slap in the neckhole for the family of that kid out west who had his head hacked off his body by some nut job on a bus, when he got off as easily as he did, got a slap on the wrist and didn't go much further than that.

Just because it'd be a slap in the face, that doesn't mean it won't happen.

Simple question, simple answer:

Am I and every other member in here allowed to hurl personal insults without getting infracted or not?

Basic common sense rule: Act civilized. If a disagreement arises, we will be the sole judge of what constitutes being a civilised person or a headache to the forum staff.

Clear enough for ya?

Yes or no?
Hey Prax,

I can't remember your tenor as a mod, however I had a couple of years where I was away tending to another forum so maybe I missed it. What I do remember about CC when I was here before was that the place was moderated to the point of stupidity. Things have loosened up quite a bit here since then, so short of physically threatening someone I don't think you'll be infracted for calling someone a douche. The censorship on the site, which I think is silly, is a program thing as you well know.

Cheers
Mark

Yeah the owner of the website adds a list of words he wants censored and the VBulletin program censors them. Still a human factor there.

I think if there is going to be word censorship, he should add google ads to the site to generate income to pay for the server and equipment..

Um... No.

But whatever, I obviously won't get a straight answer, although RCS did explain things a little better and I thank him for that.

For the record, I was a mod for..... Err, half a year or a year. I can't remember if I asked to be taken off as a mod or if I still am.

Hmmm.

Anyways, that's enough jargon in this thread, I think I got some sort of answer.

Keep it fresh all you b•tch'azz tw@ts...

PEACE!! (Does this mean the Steel Cage can be used again? That would be fun)

Don't worry son, it's all in the past now...no harm done. Mark is a lot more patient than I am.

Protip: For the record, that explanation I shared has been in effect here since Zan posted the forum rules way back in 2008. You probably just missed it. Don't sweat it man.

Have a nice day.

Meaning what? That he'll be in prison until the day he dies or someone will make his death happen?
my guess is, he will slip and fall on a shank...but not for a while

Even I'm not that cynical. ;)

The only reason I can think of why other prisoners would go after him is that he'll be high profile, maybe. No prisoner is going to take him out for being a cop killer. Cops aren't super popular with the prison population.

If the cops intended him harm, he could have been 'shot while resisting arrest', that would have been the easiest way. But this has been by the book from what little I can see, they should be commended for handling what must have been an explosively emotional situation in the most professional manner.

Of course he could antagonize the wrong person in there though too. I think he thought himself much more of a tough guy than he actually was to be honest.

Yup trying to get sympathy for the "cop killer."

No, why would one need to make idiot statements to garner disdain for the killer? What weapons or ammunition the cops had or could have had makes no difference since the killer did not get hit by the cops. The cops could have been using "exploding" ammunition and they still would have died and the killer would still be alive.
