When one becomes a citizen the swear an oath of loyalty.
If they disobey the law or interfere with others in an open
society, they should be deported and stripped of their
citizenship.
I think we are more and more beginning to understand a
clash is coming between the west and the Islamic way of
life. There is a coming showdown like it or not I think it is
sad. We bow and scrape to political correctness and in
that we can take little comfort.
I am not fear mongering against Muslims
. . . I just want them officially and systemically discriminated against.

but this is more
than just a religious argument its about a social and human
conflict developing. Its not the everyday person connected
to Islam its about the silent majority that is allowing the
hot heads to speak for them. When the **it hits the fan
no one will care whether one is moderate or radical they just
don't care and won't on either side.
I recommend a combination of the anti-Catholic policies of the U.S. from about 1835, Jim Crow, and the White Australia policy. Pick the best bits of each.

Guess what religion those accused of throwing acid in the faces of those British girls in Zanzibar was?

Apparently there are Muslims in the area who want Sharia Law imposed and they go around attacking innocent non-Muslims.

And that's why we need to systemically discriminate against all Muslims, just as Britain has done in the past against Catholics, dissenting sects, Jews, non-whites, Irish, and women.

I'd like to see a non-Islamic Britain. It'd be a much better country.

I get what you are saying. However as a woman my tolerance level has been greatly reduced. My one friend who refused to wear a burka or even a hijab after arriving in Canada was cut out of her fathers will. She is also going to hell.
So while I support what you are saying (somewhat) (from a human rights perspective - absolutley) I have a problem with the religion because it is intolerant and subjugates women.

So what do you suggest?Yes discrimination is wrong so...they discriminate, am I to support that? Which parts of this religion am I to support here Bones and how am I to do that when supporting their religion would mean total subjugation for me if they were allowed to impose their religious beliefs upon me?

I suggest not attributing the actions of some Muslims to all Muslims.

Me too. Religious discrimination is such a fine, noble concept. Maybe after that you can throw out all the Taigs.

It's alright you saying that, but then you probably don't, unlike me, live in a town with a large Muslim population with huge Muslim ghettos in which veiled women walk several paces behind their menfolk and huge mosques with minarets reaching to the skies proliferate, areas in which any non-Muslim walking through gets looked upon as if they are intruding in "a Muslim area".

If it happened to your town maybe then you'll have different thoughts.

It did happen in my town. It was overrun by violent people of a different race who imposed their laws and religion on us by force.

How do you feel about people of a different religion who live in ghettoes, have a different language, different food, different customs, and refuse to integrate into Germ. . . um, make that British society in 193. . . um, make that 2013.

BL, the topic is about two silly fat white Geeks who tried a thinly disguised 'parade' in Monokinis, - and got their retarded clocks cleaned.
I'm not Islamic- but I see this as 'win - win'.
I do feel for their kids- but I also hope they get adopted soon...

So do some Christian sects.
Some Christian sects? Okay but not all of Christiandom.
Do you also support discrimination against all Christians?
Some on here would likely say yes. However, I am not a Christian although many of my friends are. I see a strong contrast between their life style and choices and the Muslim lifestyle and choices. My Muslim girlfriend while still a part of her family has been told in no uncertain terms that her lifestyle choice has damned her. When her father died, no money for her because she is/was a sinner.

I suggest not attributing the actions of some Muslims to all Muslims.
I can agree here. I would then say to you, in order to be tolerant and remain free we must not see all Muslims as good for they are not. And I would further say, it is incumbent upon you living in a free society to ensure that freedom remains in place for all Christians, Muslims and non-religous alike.

That may involve limiting some people's freedom to impose their will upon others.

I stand steadfast in that.

I'm not talking to "some on here." I'm talking to you.

I was told by the Christians who ran the Indian school that my conduct had damned me. What's your point? That your friend's family are fundamentalist wackaloons? OK, fine. But does that justify discrimination against Muslims who are not fundamentalist wackaloons?

I would point out that what your friend's family is trying with her is essentially emotional blackmail, and that it's hardly any different from Christians who reject their children for "living in sin."

You can't legislate family interactions. At some point kids with intolerant parents have to draw their own lines. It's called "growing up."

Sal, your friend should sue the estate's other beneficiaries for her reasonable share (unless it's really not all that much). I'd bet a judge can be made to see it her way.

They are Arabs...it's a LOT... :) Her relationship with her family while tenuous is more meaningful to her than the money. Were she to do that, it would break it. Her spirit would seem to be old soul and probably spiritual rather than religious. (There is irony here) :)

Sue the estate? Yeah, greed is a good thing.
I don't think Mercury is endorsing greed, but rather fairness.

Fairness? That's like claiming "it was okay to steal the lawnmower your honour, it's not fair that I didn't have one"

No my former hair stylist (irony here) is Muslim. His wife does not wear a burka although his sister in law has now found Allah and wears a hijab and feels all who do not are damned.
It's seems to be an Allah thing.

I'm not talking to "some on here." I'm talking to you.

My point is that by my definition, I know Muslims who are balanced and unbalanced that exist within my world. My point is the ones who are balanced have broken awake from their Muslim roots. When and if they return to those roots...voila, they become what I would term unbalanced. That has been my experience.

I started out all doe eyed and tolerant. Watching my girlfriend suffer with her family, seeing my former hairstylist go through hell with his in-laws when they found Allah, and then other violent events which have taken place such as my guy being 40 minutes ahead of the bomb at Boston has made me sit back and begin to ponder this religion they call Muslim.

I am quite willing to take an individual on their personal behaviour. I do that with all people. I am however leery of Muslims overall because of how they behave. I am also leery of right winged Christians and right winged Republicans...they seem to all be of the same ilk.

I would point out that what your friend's family is trying with her is essentially emotional blackmail, and that it's hardly any different from Christians who reject their children for "living in sin."
Exactly and I don't like those people any better. They are unbalanced and need to be curbed in their right to restrict others. If they act with group think, I will respond to them as a group. That is my point.

You can't legislate family interactions. At some point kids with intolerant parents have to draw their own lines. It's called "growing up."
Yes there is of course always hope for the future. When kids break away from the religious intolerance of their parents. I have to say however, my parents were Christians and Roman Catholics....I learned how to be tolerant of others from them. They died Christian... it kind of skews my view but none of us are perfect. :D

Fairness? That's like claiming "it was okay to steal the lawnmower your honour, it's not fair that I didn't have one"
i think you are totally confused about our discussion, but that's okay... you can view her being cut out of her inheritance because of her refusal to wear a hijab as greed...no problem to me... :D
