It seems to be a conflict between the right to bear arms and the necessity of bearing arms. How do we define freedom? In Canada, I might enjoy less freedom to bear arms, but also more freedom to choose to not bear arms.

It would seem that in the US, extreme freedom to bear arms also forces those who might rather not bear arms to do so anyway. What kind of freedom is that?

And that's why they need protections. I means, I agrii that an averadge AR15 maat be a little too big for a kid, so why not produce smaller versions for primary school students? You just neva know when a crazy shooter will storm the skool and the kids gonna have to shoot him down.

Agree abou t it being far too late. Way too late.

Yes.... we are watching the disintegration of a short and far too fast developed society that grew limbs but the brain growth too slow... A society that is like a collective child..(I WANT NOW..... I am entitled )... and because it did not mature and grow into a RESPONSIBLE LE nation.......it is NOT a great nation.It definitely had the potential for a greatness far superior to Rome and the UK and the Chinese dynasty combined.... but it will have to disintegrate to a degree and learn some serous HUMILITY and genuine caring for others .....and learn it the hard way.........before it can grow into its full potential. It's successes are measured in MONEY, Military strength .......but NOT in the character and wisdom of its people.


Listening to the media talking heads........repeat the same platitudes as they have each time before........ has become literally nauseating. NO ONE IS LEARNING from all these previous incidents........ and they have fallen into a rut...... and literally accepting it as par for the course.

Perhaps things willchange when the kids that are affected by these shootings mature into adults and get into power....... and the ;old generation dies off.......(and takes the RA with them)
