Well, after 4 months away I see the dialogue has further degenerated to close to the level of Babble. First off, I agree that Mulroney should have never come with=in a mile of KHS. KHS's testimony though clears Mulroney of any wrongdoing. It also clears Harper. Too bad sycophants, the facts are in and it does not look too good for the libs. Harper warned the libs to be careful for what you wish for. Marc Lalonde, former cabinet minister under PET is in thick with KHS. Mister"I don't need no stinking reciepts" Andre' Oullett, former Chretien henchman has been dancing with Karl also. Feel smug now children, the documents are being scrutinized and it doesn't look good for the thieves.

I actually don't recall. She may have. Is there more than one that wears dark sunglasses in parliament? I'm pretty sure she's a conservative.

I don't know comrade, I only pay attention when thier nuttyness spills out onto the streets like with Mr Scrieber. Maybe she's blind they have a lot of dumb and deaf members. There's a few nice looking conservative femembers, but jeesus they're conservatives. What would that be like? I don't drink enough anymore and can't imagine making out with a dispensationalist.

Wally this has nothing to do with self centered sycophant's, it has to do with you loving the boot and we who did not vote for German general SS Harper we are sycophants? Give us a brake Wally.
We know as free citizens of the Western world what is good for us. We don't need some goof to think that he has a patent in our free and democratic destinies. My dear friend that is what your master Steve is all about and you can take that to the bank. No pun intended but the truth is the truth and Harper will never win against the truth.

Marc Lalonde was never the PM and besides many questions need to be answered by Mulrony and Harper, trust me they both wish that this day had not come upon them, and you know what? The truth will come out soon, they are in constipation mode in Ottawa with the approaching inquiry and the people in question have just taken strong amounts of prune juice and we all know what happens next, quite frankly the **** is about to not only hit the fan, Wally I tell you, it will live bad stains on the walls of parliament. Oh well lets just wait and see. but I am afraid that Brian will go down in the political Canadian history as the PM who took money under the table and took a long time to declare on his income tax. Trust me that said volumes about Brian's respect for the law.

Who's the woman who wears the dark sunglasses all of the time? Is she hiding her bloodshot eyes or something? Is she a tripped out crackhead?
Her name is Diane Finley, a Conservative MP from Ontario. She has Graves disease and needs the dark glasses because the bright TV lights in the House bother her eyes. The disease also causes extreme watering of the eyes and causes the eyes to bulge out, so I guess the glasses are also worn for cosmetic reasons.

You should read this.

Caught in a bind-er

Schreiber's files contain no blockbusters for Commons committee

By GREG WESTON
fctAdTag("bigbox",MyGenericTagVar,1);
After a long and lucrative career trading in international palm grease, arms dealer Karlheinz Schreiber is apparently branching out into political snake oil.
After promising to reveal the biggest scandal in Canadian history, Schreiber barely served up lukewarm controversy during testimony before a Commons committee earlier this week.
He did, however, hand over a stack of thick black binders he inferred were packed with enough explosive documents to blow the lid off 25 years of sleaze and corruption in high places.
Instead, like the man himself, the Schreiber files are turning out to be a disappointment.

My heartfelt apology for our treatment of the severly disabled Ms Finley. I was not aware of her condition with regard to Graves. We of course extend our sincere wishes for her speedy recovery. No doubt her psyciatric problems must be compounded because of this affliction. The underlying problem is of course New Conservatism for which sadly there is no cure. We must work tirelessly to develope treatment for Conservatism, there is some promising work being conducted in the UK at Shiptons Memorial Primate Research Institute it involves cattle prods and bananas.:p

With all due respect....if there's anything that lawyers and police officers learn while plying their 'trade' it's how to hide deny and misdirect. Politicians are in the large majority of cases, lawyers who've turned the concept of justice and fair-play on its ear. It doesn't matter who the particular rogue may be.... it could be a multi-millionaire like Paul Martin who has to maintain a double mirror in his residence to confirm which side of his face he's talking out of ..on any given day...

Or it can be folk like Jean Chretien who as a thug from Shwinigan confirmed what everyone always knew about Quebec and Quebec politicians....tough and corrupt to the core.

Stephen Harper has unfortunately the appearance of exactly what he is...

A stuffed-shirt with the IQ of a doorstop. This man and this government have no intentions of allowing anything like integrity or honesty to muddy the waters as they vie for positions and salaries to which they are and have always been...un-entitled.

Mulroney sold the "Free Trade" dog and pony show to allow Ronny the Chimp Tamer and he to croon Irish tunes while the average Canadian and American watched their systems of government go up in flames.

Scum every last one of them.

I cannot explain the feelings Mickey has just caused me to experiance once again. I recall the hideous visage of this repulsive duo singing on stage When Irish Eyes Are smiling. An act that lives on in infamey. I'm to overcome to continue and I have to excuse myself to barf.

The problem is you folks can't see the truth......in fact, you couldn't find an elephant in your bathroom.......

This is NOT the Progressive Conservative Party of Brian Mulrooney..........in fact, I abandoned the old PC Party and joined Reform very early on BECAUSE of Lyin' Brian.

Brian is scum. No surprize there, but he may be scum that lies just on the legal side of the line.........I wish it was otherwise, I'd like to see him in jail......

Wally is right, KHS has as many very questionable dealings with the Liberals.....who paid his bail? Not Harper.

Harper is the best PM we have had in 40 + years. Now I will admit that in itself is scary, but it is truth.

And, Socrates, I don't lick ANYONE'S boots. Period. Mind your manners, please.

BTW, I think KHS should be shipped back to Germany on the next flight....

(click) "Air Canada flight 674, Toronto to Berlin, we have arrived in Germany. For security reasons, Please remain seated while a person in custody is removed from the plane" (click)

Pause while KHS disembarks

(click)"For the rest of our passengers, we will be landing at Berlin airport in about 8 minutes. Thank you." (click)

I can fantasize, can't I?

What's the difference who gets in, their all crooks. it's an old boys club and sooner or later they'll get caught with their hand in the cookie jar and we'll be pissed off and switch parties - the cycle repeats- I now vote for the guy who puts tighter controls on MPs

This inquiry is nothing but a smoke-screen by the Liberals and the NDP to try and make Harper look bad, but the truth is that Mulroney did what he did years ago, just like Chretien and Martin did what they did that was not only dishonest but a criminal act. The other truth is that not once has a politician gone to jail for doing something illegal. In the case of Chretien's Liberals, the sponsorship program was outright theft from the taxpayers of this country, and has just one politician done any time or even been criminally charged as they should have been? Of course not, the only people charged were a couple of public servants who were used a scapegoats by the ruling Liberals, when the truth is that it was Chretien, Martin and their Quebec Lieutenant, Stephane Dion who made those decisions of where the money was to go and which Liberal supporters could and did become rich through this fraud.

The present inquiry will result in the same thing, because politician regardless of stripe are able to do as they please whether legal or not. In Lyin Brian's case he even got to sue, and walk away with over $2Million in taxpayer's money. Aside from the cost of this inquiry, I wonder how much this farce is going to cost us, so that Dion can try to gain some credibility. My take is that Dion was part and parcel of the corrupt Chretien?Martin team and he can try to refocus that stink elsewhere, but he will not be able to get it off himself. He simply has no credibility even on the environmental front, because he allowed pollution levels to increase significantly when he was the Environment Minister, now he wants the people of Canada to forget that incompetence and support him. He should remember the old saying; "People living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones."

"It is a matter of time before we see the level of deceit and thievery that took place during the powerful grip of the Tories in the Mulronie era."

That's a great introduction to the mob execution that followed.

We may spend a fortune to find that Mulroney blew $300,000 of some foreign sucker's money on himself, and that another $2.1 million paid to him for his temerity in pointing out that there is no evidence against him cannot shut him up when he is compelled to speak again.

There will be an election. I predict that Mulroney will not run. Democracy lives yet foolishness will never die. Harper has in no way disgraced us and Mulroney didn't either. Harper, will he win? Is he not clever? And what will take this champion down? I venture not shame but time alone, if he is not struck down by foolishness first. But if it ever comes to shame, Canadians will drop him like a hot potato. Maybe name a mountain after him. Naw, a guy's gotta be in breach of trust for 30 billion a year to get a mountain named after him.

Harper=Hitler, how juvenile and disrespectful of the millions that died and the thousands of Canadians who fought and died for our freedoms.Better to stick with the fat barbs than the comparisons to Nazis. I really don't understand what you mean about your free and democratic destinies,Harper was democratically elected by Canadians. How old are you anyways, perchance you are young?

Lets not forget on the sponsorship scandal there were no secret envelopes undeclared from the tax man exchanging hands in hotel rooms. And there was no denials like Mulroney's I only had coffee once or twice when in fact they talked secret cash deals. In the testimony Mulroney gave to the question on to wether or not had the German kept his mouth shut would you have declared the cash you took from the German arms dealer? the answer is on record Mulroney said "I don't know the answer to that" so don't sit her and tel us that the Tories are a better bread of politicians when in fact they are nothing but grease palms, (cash on the palm undeclared from income tax) The Tories must never ever see a Majority Government again.

Wally no offense to you but save the spin, Harper has a thirst for the iron grip and quite frankly he doesn't have the right to dictate the color of a free day for me, if you can get deep enough intellectually to understand the elements of a free day. In the past he has shunted the news media from reporting on him, he is told all his members of the Tory party I decide on free speech, and these are not good signs Wally, this are sings of a guy just waiting to jump in with a majority to settle the score. Every Conservative government in the past left office with the country suffering, and that is on record.
