More dis-info from the US, like all the other times.

Russia: Aug. 21 Syria chemical attack was 'staged'
UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Russia on Monday lashed out at the U.S. and its allies on the U.N. Security Council over who is to blame for chemical weapons attacks in Syria this year.
Russia's ambassador told the council that the dramatic Aug. 21 attack that led to Syria agreeing to give up its chemical stockpile was "staged" and a "large-scale provocation."
Vitaly Churkin compared it to the "manipulation of public opinion" that led up to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. He read reporters the statement he read to council members.

Over 80 civilians in a town northwest of the Syrian capital of Damascus have been executed by Islamist rebels, sources within the Syrian military told RT. Many others were kidnapped to be used as human shields.
Government forces are continuing a large-scale operation against Jabhat al-Nusra and Liwa Al-Islam fighters, who captured the town earlier this week. The area is located some 20 kilometers away from Damascus.

According to SANA news agency, around 1,000 militants were in the town when it was enveloped by the army on Friday.

The military sources said the “armed groups have performed an execution of civilians” in Adra, RT Arabic correspondent Abutaleb Albohaya reported from Syria.

For now it’s established that over 80 people were killed in the areas now taken over by the army. Often whole families were murdered,” he said.

The number of executed civilians is expected to rise after government troops manage to recover the rest of the town - which has a population of around 20,000 - from the Islamists, the military source added.

“Some families were kidnapped in order to be used as human shields in areas where the Syrian army is now trying to free the civilians,” Albohaya stressed. Iraqi Al-Ahd television says this is the reason the Syrian army is abstaining from using artillery on Sunday.

The military sources also said that the other kidnapped families were moved to the area south of Adra in the direction of the town of Douma, which has been the opposition’s strategic backland since the start of the Syrian crisis [in March, 2011]. It’s also where the most important rebel fortifications are situated,” Albohaya said.

The rebel presence remains strong in Adra, with “snipers entrenched in high-rise buildings,” he added. “Many opposition militant groups are still acting in areas outside and within the town.”

The army’s special forces have performed several successful operations against those groups, which have resulted in the deaths of dozens of militants, the military source said.

The military is storming every house and has already freed dozens of Alawite, Druze, and Christian families from the rebels, Al-Ahd reported.

What a novel idea, oh wait, that is the only solution America ever comes up with.

We're not dropping bombs in Syria. Assad is.

Oh and Israel is too... whenever they feel like it they fly right in a drop a few here and there. Pretty easily it seems.

That is what you are paying them to do, you really deserve a lump of coal this year.
It would appear the US is writing things for Turkey's press releases. 47 tonnes of hunting rifles, all with banana clips, anything bigger would get popped no that Syria has eyes in the sky.

(in part)
ISTANBUL: Turkey's defence minister on Tuesday denied reports that his country was delivering weapons of war to Syrian rebels, but acknowledged that "hunting rifles" had been exported to Syria.
"No war weapons have been exported to Syria in 2013," Ismet Yilmaz said in parliament, according to media reports.
Hurriyet Daily News reported on Monday that Turkey had shipped 47 tonnes of weapons to Syrian rebels since June, citing UN and Turkish Statistics Institute documents.

Really, 5 hits in 3 years is hardly 'anytime' and a missile is not something the 'flyboys' are doing. It sure explains why Iran is safe from any actual combat roles against either Israel or the US who are restricted to acts of terrorism, low-acts really.

Anytime they wish. Israel has complete air superiority over Syria... total dominance and attack when they choose.

Anyhow... the Assad regime has lost control and foreigners are still arriving and the quagmire is so deep.

You should have let OBL lead his old gang, at least they are credited with doing what they set out to do, unlike the coalition of the none-too-bright. Really sending in French Commandos and not expecting them to spill their guts when caught was not the best way to start a war, you should have taken that as a sign.

Kerry Confirms U.S. Is Open to Meeting With Islamist Rebels in Syria
Secretary of State John Kerry today confirmed earlier reports that Washington may meet with the Islamic Front, a newly-formed group of hardline Islamist Syrian rebels, that have been accused of taking over the rebellion against Bashar al-Assad.
The meeting would take place in the context of UN-organized Syrian peace talks, called Geneva Two, slated to take place on January 22. The Islamic Front, created last month, was founded by seven groups whose unified goal is to establish an Islamic state in Syria. According to Kerry, openness to meeting with the Front could bring a broader contingency of Syrian rebel groups to the negotiating table:
The United States has not met to date with the Islamic Front but it's possible it could take place... there is an effort afoot among all of the supporting nations of the Syrian opposition to want to broaden the base of the moderate opposition and broaden the base of representation of the Syrian people in the Geneva two negotiation.

And the Bloody War grinds on... more meat for the hamburg grinder. Al Queda, SSA, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iranians, FSA, Al Nasar, Chechens, foreigners from all over swooping down upon Syria to fight for one side or another. Plenty of guns and ammo... and of course plenty of RPGs for those shiny new Russian tanks.

Come one come all!

You forget how much Israel and the US whined over the S-300 coming to Syria, that would pretty much end the party. Syria has enough Russian hardware to take care of any fleets of Israeli aircraft from coming in. You know the unstoppable kind.

That's about 6 weeks old, there is no invisible Israeli Air Force, that's why missile money is being upgraded. At least get the delivery system correct.
US defense bill boosts funding for joint Israel missile defense projects | JPost | Israel News

WASHINGTON - A compromise defense bill proposed on Monday by US lawmakers would boost spending on missile defense by $358 million to $9.5 billion, mandating an additional homeland defense radar and increasing funding for US-Israeli cooperative efforts.
The measure authorizes $173 million in added funding for US-Israeli cooperative missile defense programs, including nearly $34 million to improve the Arrow weapon system and $22 million for work on developing an upper-tier interceptor. Boeing has worked with Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) on the Arrow II and Arrow 3 interceptors.

And it seems like only yesterday you said the Israelis wouldn't dare attack Syria by air.

BTW... I am enjoying you flailing about with non relevant posts.

Israel can kick back and relax. The Bolsheviks have their backs in this skirmish.

Indeed they are. I am sure the Israelis are feeding this war nicely and watching with glee as it's enemies hack each other's heads off.

How bad of a boss are you when your own armed men say they won't talk to you? lol It also appears that Assad is now invited to the talks which should be held in Syria actually and the Saudis are right pissed off (in the press) and I doubt those new weapons will hekp them in a combat role against Iran. Bahrain's naval station would be one of the first targets after the Saudi air bases and since that is what Saudi would also have to do it would work even worse that their failed bid to control Syria. Raise on a busted flush has nevr worked out well for the player dumb enough to try and actually do it.

US ambassador says Syria’s Islamic Front rejects talks - Khaleej Times
(in part)
The US ambassador to Damascus has said a newly formed Islamist alliance in Syria has refused to meet with American officials, in an interview aired on Wednesday on Al Arabiya television.
“The Islamic Front has refused to sit with us without giving any reason,” Robert Ford said, a day after US State Secretary John Kerry described as “possible” a meeting with Syria’s biggest rebel alliance.
“We are ready to sit with them because we talk to all parties and political groups in Syria,” Ford was quoted as saying on the Dubai-based channel’s Arabic website.

We believe that many of the West’s policies on both Iran and Syria risk the stability and security of the Middle East. This is a dangerous gamble, about which we cannot remain silent, and will not stand idly by.

The crisis in Syria continues unabated. There have been over 100,000 civilian deaths. Most shockingly of all, the Oxford Research Group reports that of the 11,000 victims under 17 and under, more than 70 percent were killed by air strikes and artillery shells deliberately targeting civilian areas.
While international efforts have been taken to remove the weapons of mass destruction used by the murderous regime of Bashar al-Assad, surely the West must see that the regime itself remains the greatest weapon of mass destruction of all? Chemical weapons are but a small cog in Mr. Assad’s killing machine. While he may appear to be going along with every international initiative to end the conflict, his regime will continue to do everything in its power to frustrate any serious solution.

Indeed they are. I am sure the Israelis are feeding this war nicely and watching with glee as it's enemies hack each other's heads off.
Actually this is the way they like to watch their wars against civilians and there are some vids on how the Commandos who boareded a cruise ship ended up looking like

Iran doesn't have to dress up it's women for war so no combat boots on their beaches like in 99% of the rest of the world also. The mountains in the background would be the ski slopes in the winter. Oh those poor people swim all day ski all night.

I'm sure this pic and many others that look like the one you posted will be appreciated when Saudi gets the bills for all the damage done in the last 3 years including payments to all the ones who are now in refugee camps. Being that they had to enter another country is that one small step is the difference between an inconvenience and being the victim of a war crime. I would think one situation deserves a bigger compensation in terms of a lot of cash compared to a huge amount of cash. It's only money and how many personal bank accounts does one person need. Saudi's own citizens would not be left out in the cold as their standards of living would have to match that of Iran and Syria.

Like I said rock crushers that can chew throug 2,000 tonne an hour would be the smallest one needed for any city sized place and even then it would be a 10 year contract with the machines running 24/7. German equipment and Syrian operators drawing union wages.

Why else would their dresses be all in a knot. The King is one of the richest people in the world and he can't even grin, need I say more about the people you fund. There is just no having fun in your camp, the biggest victim is almost always the last one to come to that realization and the shock compounds itself to the original level of denial. Saudi has 4 friends that will be sharing the bill. No cheering from you about their citizens gaining new civil rights so that means it has no real importance in your camp. Not a big shock.
