You're comparing it to the legal execution of people found guilty by a jury.

It should not be used in war or in execution.. period. That's it, That's all.

But taking action towards Syria (who may or may not have used the gas), I think US is going to start an escalation in the region that may spread to Israel and the USA in the form of terrorism or full on war like Iraq. (which the USA can't afford right now)

There has to be a better way to deal with this.

A cruise missile is to indiscriminate, and it will kill the human shields..

Still say a seal team to take out specific leaders.

Well, my estimation of Assad is probably along the same lines as Kerry's: "murderer" and "thug" leap to mind, and I'd throw in "despot" and "weakling" too.

If I thought for one minute that a shock an awe campaign followed by Assad's public execution would help matters, I'd be all over it.

I apologize for dissing the US. I took offence at something someone else said about Canada and it went from there.
