Show me the science in this claim, please.
Nu:1:3:
From twenty years old and upward,
all that are able to go forth to war in Israel:
thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

On top of that if a person gets married they cannot go to war for a full year, that would be incentive to wait till just before their 20th birthday if there was a war going on. That year is give a man time to have an heir in case he dies in a war.

Dex has a narrow view of the Bible and it is in error, something his personality will not allow him to admit too. Climate-gate is probably just a conspiracy rather than there being an attempt to mislead the public that involves a large amount of cash. A grade 4 students know more CO2 means bigger and faster growing plants until a balance is achieved then it levels out, the less CO2 the smaller the plants are. Oddly enough the healthier the plants the more oxygen there is, the more oxygen there is the healthier the human body is. Science doesn't teach that, the push is one to require the 'little people' to fork over their cash just because their own breath is changing the air.
Why do the masses allow themselves to be willingly hoodwinked? Good social behavior does not require a person to thank the one who just kneed them in the nuts.

 I said "science", not hearsay. Applying a religious opinion to a biological function is really spinning a contortion.

And he's probably thinking you have a narrow view of the Bible and won't admit it, too. So what?

Like hell it doesn't.

That's not the science of it, that is people with an agenda twisting science to suit what they want. There's a gigantic difference.
Why do the masses allow themselves to be willingly hoodwinked?
It's the "sheeple" syndrome.
Good social behavior does not require a person to thank the one who just kneed them in the nuts.
Nope.

You have to remember your original post was about religion promoting the rape of 8 year olds, the rebuttal says that idea is bull as far back as the exodus.
There isn't anything wishful in my version, that is part of the reason passages sometimes get posted, I assume most people are too lazy to look them up. Sheeple for the Religious, patriots for Governments and slave wages for the Commercial angle of things. Doesn't matter which one you pick nothing can be done without the mass of the ones involved. Didn't the Conservatives fail as a political party, people had had enough but then they went back to sleep again.

Excuse me? I said what?

Or it might be that peoplejust don't look them up because they realize that everyone and their dog has a different interpretation of them.

Nah. Just the mass of humanity is "sheeple".

The Cons aren't gov't anymore? I missed an election?

No, you just missed the part where the Cons were hijacked by the Reform party and are now something indistinguishable from a herd of cows.

Good call...
Refresh me on why the Gospel of John, which is written by the Apostle John according to you, is the only Gospel not to cover two important events that John is said to have witnessed(the vision on the mountain that included Moses and Elias and the resurrection of a 'sleeping girl').
This is a skill testing question.

No, not according to me, I've never claimed any such thing. I've made the opposite claim, that the stories of Jesus in the New Testament were written several generations after Jesus' time by people who'd never met him.
This is a skill testing question.
Arrogant twit. I'm not playing your games.

Yes, I realize that telling the truth about the bible is considered heresy by believers. It is a work of fiction the same way an historical novel is fiction. It may have some historically correct references but for the most part it is a story made up hundreds of years after said JC of Nazareth is supposed to have existed.

Yes, and glad to be so. Heresy is just another word for a challenge to authority, and I think it's a good thing, it's responsible for much human progress. I'll take that as a compliment.
lol, Why do I get the feeling you didn't take it as a complement? If you were telling the truth it would be a compliment, as it is all it shows is your unwillingness to accept for the verses for what they say. To hold your version as being correct you have to do all sorts of acts and mental games with the words that is never applied to any other text ever in print. You want me to accept your version as being truthful over the one the Bible has told me is-so-fact-so. Your point about the author of the Gospel of John being somebody that was not alive at the time is not what the text says. In light of the verse below if you can get a few sheeple like Anna and Cliffy to jump on that bandwagon you should be selling tickets. As for me, I'll stick with the eye-witness thing being expanded to include the other 3 Gospels as well. You would seem to be a Heretic when trying to repeat what Scripture says as you change it from what the 'official version' says. In the Middle Ages if you couldn't repeat the Church sponsored dogma word-for-word you were classified as being a Heretic. Why does that suddenly not apply when it comes to being an accurate description of your methods?

Joh:21:24:
This is the disciple which testifieth of these things,
and wrote these things:
and we know that his testimony is true.
Joh:21:25:
And there are also many other things which Jesus did,
the which,
if they should be written every one,
I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.
Amen.

As for the naming if they were named for the 'authors' who did the most accurate 'copy jot-for-jot' that the RCC archived under that person's name doesn't negate that his work was based on an original document that came from Jerusalem as early as 35AD.

Whatever Happened to the Hole in the Ozone Layer?

In the time the 'thin layer' over the South Pole was growing what was the layer over the North Pole doing? The article suggest that now the Ozone over the North Pole is beginning to thin while it is getting thicker at the South Pole. Perhaps puny man is doing next to nothing to influence those trends and the 'migration' is related more to the effects of solar winds mixing thins up a little bit.
There must be a few papers already written on that 'possibility' as well as the exploration if the 'possible' interaction of Ozone thickness and Ice-cap melting at faster rates when ozone was getting thicker. In a 'stable' climate there could be a natural cycle of the ice growing in the North while it is receding in the South and vice versa at some point in the not too far future.
If any of that has been explored then there are papers on that also. The mid '90's should have been the turning point. Ice in the South would be at it's greatest and at it's least in the North. Allowing for a year or so lag time once the south gained ozone the ice should melt at a faster rate than it did before. That would take the form of thinning ice and/or a smaller total area with the reverse trend happening in the North (taking into account all the times ice-breakers were sent into the ice-flow which can hasten a melting all by itself)

As I pointed out to Dex (you guys should tag up and become the duo, Pete and Repeat) The RCC was not preaching the true Gospel when they were persecuting people for the 'opposing' views, who was the false Christian?

The true gospel is only realizable through field transition of cellular flux capacitors powered by dilithium crystals during the fullness of the harvest moon eh.
Close, get this wrong and 'all hell' really could 'come forth'. 'a blue harvest moon' and the part of the page that states which one .... is missing ....

lol Using the Bible self-referentially to support your own opinion of what the Bible means right after you accuse Dex of having his own interpretation. Pot meet Kettle.

Again, you assume that whatever the Bible says is contextual to today, and that whatever it says is fact. Sorry, but using the Bible as its own reference is illogical at best.
Why does that suddenly not apply when it comes to being an accurate description of your methods?

Joh:21:24:

Exactly my point. It references itself. If Theodor Seuss Geisel claimed his Dr. Seuss books to be factually truthful, it'd be no different a scenario than the Bible claiming its "facts" are true.

I'd say it isn't Anna, Dex, and Cliff that are the sheeple, it's you. They question assumptions, claims of authority, dogma, etc. They don't follow everything they are told. You sound like you swallow your religious dogma by the entire fishing kit.
