Yeah, that is precisely the type of nepotism I'm talking about, and yes I am against it no matter who engages in it. Oh and for the record, I'm not a supporter of "Groper."
Why is an impeached POTUS allowed to run for POTUS.....ie second term. The fact he is impeached........should automatically disqualify him from running again. regardless of the outcome. If there is highly questionable behavior......that is impeachable..........it makes no sense for him to run for a second term.

Well in his defense (which is unnatural for me) charged doesn't mean convicted, that's the purpose of the Senate trial. But what does get me here is that with this current Republican controlled Senate, a fair trial will not take place considering most of them likely fear reprisals from Trump that could lead to them losing their seat. This group is circling their wagons around Trump in a transparent display of loyalty to Trump (thus to themselves) and not to the Constitution.
Now, after having come to his defense, I need a "Silkwood shower".... shudder.
In watching the Senate trial today, which is still ongoing, still you hear the Republicans say "What about Obama?' and how they weren't given a fair shake during the impeachment investigations, boo-hoo. If the Republicans are that adamant about fairness why won't they allow for witnesses and documentation evidence to take place in this trial. For a group doing an awful lot of boo-hooing about fairness they certainly aren't open to it. Are they afraid of something? Oh hell yeah they are, the truth!
The Dem. filibuster to drag the trial out didn't work to good last night and didn't look good on them IMO
