I don't get many reds, and I don't believe it is because people agree with what I I say, I think it is because even when i disagree (adamantly) I attempt to remain civil. I think CS gave me a red once as a joke can't remember why...other than that...I just think they feel really strongly against what I have written...if we used red more often, it likely would mean less.

I thought red was an option when I first came back but then someone commented on receiving a red so I then realized it bothered people. Don't know if I have ever used a red. If I did it was likely by accident or as a joke.

Funny that those who do go on red rampages are the ones who say reds are meaningless and don't bother them. Some psychotic disconnect maybe?

We all handle things in a different manner- Here was have a system that is free and open- a member based- Up or down based upon, outrageous and disgusting post- to a post that though you differ the post was well put. Gave you pause for thought - to the member that puts time and effort into posting links, short blurbs etc showing they are posting differing aspects with those links & open for discussion.

Then we as in any system that is based upon a number of factors - the one factor it is not based upon is a member going on a hunt and tagging a significant number of posts with a Red.

They are misusing a good system.

I don't think that people like Cannuck or Angst are psychotic, just silly.

That oil patch guy, now that guy was psychotic.

I honestly don't understand why people don't just ignore the little trolls. I mean completely ignore them, if they aren't contributing anything worthwhile, then why give them the time of day?
