God despised my ancestors?
Not all Jews in the past; it was they who worshipped the idols Baalim and Astaroth and associated their imams (sages) together with God Most Gracious; and those who transgressed on the Sabbath and went to trade and fish on the Sabbath.
Those who transgressed on the Sabbath were like apes imitating others without thinking and without reason; this is the story of Nehemia son of Heklia the ruler of Elath who said to them: You have become like apes imitating others without mind.
This is explained in the Quran 2: 65
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمُ الَّذِينَ اعْتَدَواْ مِنكُمْ فِي السَّبْتِ فَقُلْنَا لَهُمْ كُونُواْ قِرَدَةً خَاسِئِينَ ..الخ
The explanation:
(And well you knew those among you who transgressed in the [matter of the] Sabbath: We said to them: "Be [like] apes, despised and rejected."
Thus We made it an example to those [cities] around it and to those [cities far] beyond it and a lesson to those who ward off [evil and God's punishment.] )
And the wrath of God was enkindled against Jews when they associated their idols and their imams
sages) together with Him; so He set Nabuchodonosor on them and even He created the apes and swine in Palestine out of their dead corpses as a despise of the stubborn disobedient associaters.

60
قُلْ هَلْ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرٍّ مِّن ذَلِكَ مَثُوبَةً عِندَ اللّهِ مَن لَّعَنَهُ اللّهُ وَغَضِبَ عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ مِنْهُمُ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ وَعَبَدَ الطَّاغُوتَ أُوْلَئِكَ شَرٌّ مَّكَاناً وَأَضَلُّ عَن سَوَاء السَّبِيلِ
The explanation:
(Say [Mohammed]: "Shall I tell you [Jews] about something worse than that [you mock at, of our religion] – concerning a reward from God [that will be for us?]
They are those [your ancestors and you] whom God cursed, and His wrath was kindled against them,
and He made of their [dead bodies] the apes and swines [in Palestine, after the coming of Nabuchodonosor],
and [those who] served the Taghoot: the tyrant [: Nabuchodonosor, and Pharaoh before him.]
Those [who served Baal and Astaroth] are [today] worst in abode and farthest astray from the right way.")
Explain this to me: what kind of supposedly omnipotent, omniscient, infinitely loving and benevolent deity would create a Hell, or at least allow one to exist, then with full foreknowledge so arrange things that most of his most beloved creatures end up in it?
Will God treat all people equally: the criminal like the pious and the guilty like the righteous? So He will not leave the wrong-doer without taking the rights of the wronged out of the wrong-doer.
His beloved creature is the God-fearing who obeys His commandments and avoid His forbidding and so avoid His punishment.
Most people around the world aren't Muslim, as you obviously must know, and it appears that according to you even most people who call themselves Muslim are not behaving correctly, they're making too much of their prophets and imams and not properly worshiping the deity alone, so they're condemned as well.
True.
Not only that, the deity delivers his final revelation only to an isolated desert tribe that is largely illiterate, including its major prophet, at a time when global communication is non-existent, thus ensuring the slowest possible spread of the message.
This is His wisdom, and He specifies whomever He please to send as an apostle to warn against the idolatry.
Jews before envied Mohammed and the Arab because God preferred them by sending His apostle out of them and revealed to him the Quran as a guidance to all humanity.
