"Kerry would've been a far better President than Bush."

That's true. But when the Republicans started their hate campaign, Kerry and the Dems decided to do nothing about it and they lost.

In this campaign, Obama had an early significant lead. Now it as disappeared. Again, this is because the Republicans have mounted a hate campaign and the Dems stupidly choose to take it rather than swing back. They just don't want the White House.

Therefore, like it or not, you can count on a McCain win in November.

It looks to be headed that way. I hope McCain can put that 26 years experience of doing nothing to good use.

Yeah right.

Read above.....in 2004 the DEMOCRATS were willing to give him control of foreign policy.....

And that surge thing.....such idiocy!

I love the idea of a military-economic alliance of the English-speaking world.
And he's not threatening to invade Pakistan.....

You are right, Colpy... for once!;-)
On the campaign trail, Republican presidential candidate John McCain has repeatedly attacked Democratic candidate Barack Obama for failing to support the White House's "surge" of 30,000 more troops to Iraq last year. Mr. McCain argues that the surge is responsible for the steep decline in political violence over the past 12 months.
Well, it is not! Read this:
Mr. McCain is wrong. The three developments that were most effective in driving down the fatality rate had little to do with the extra U.S. troops. First was the security effect of forced population movements.

The second factor was the unilateral ceasefire announced in April, 2007, by Muqtada al-Sadr, leader of the powerful but deeply factionalized Mahdi Army.

Finally, there was the surprising alliance formed between the U.S. military and its former Sunni insurgent enemies against al-Qaeda In Iraq (AQI). This, too, had little to do with the surge.
The U.S. military's new Sunni allies provided priceless intelligence on the identity and location of AQI fighters. Some of the most valuable information came from AQI defectors who had joined the new militias.

The Evil Empire
The majority of the world wants the US out of there, the people in Iraq even want the US out of their country and off their "Holy Lands" and yet, everybody seems to be wrong, and Staying the course seems to be the way to go.

The Kurds beg to differ. Comments?

Do a Google with the words 'hate campaign against Obama'. Then read your most recent newspapers on McLame's race card allegations which are so highly inflammatory in the USA.

And how much money have they offered the US government to pay for their protection?

Considering the alternative is having their families gasssed and bulldozed into ditches while the world pretends it doesn't see anything, I'd say its money well spent at least.

Funny.....

The only article I read that spoke about race was about Obama's campaign trying to make hay out of nothing......that the McCain campaign had carefully avoided any mention of race, and that the only time the subject has come up has been when Obama's dear Pastor buddy has been spouting off, and when Obama refers to himself as not the same as the other pictures on the money........

I did as you said, and found nothing specific..........

The Dems only wish McCain was a racist......
